Im glad to see that you did this one too. Honestly I was disappointed too when I first saw the figure but now that I'm more used to it I think it isn't that bad. Actually I agree that it looks like chris Evans but not so much like Cap. I think that this figure just needed a better paintjob on the hair and more definitive eyebrows.
I really think this is a great job done. The screaming head was a tough one but I think you did as good as you could but that neutral face looks perfect
I'm VERY Disappointed with this figure. I don't have it, but It was nice that you chose to fix it. You weren't harsh. You saw the good in the figure and tried to help the bad.
I’m really impressed with your upgrades to this figure. I passed on purchasing the figure due to the inaccuracies to the actor. If the figure looked as good as your custom, then I’d purchase one effective immediately.
Hasbro also painted the wakandan shields slightly inaccurate. The 4 silver designs on the top part of the shield are painted in slightly the wrong place. If you compare the shield closely to a picture from the movie you can see it
I really loved what you done, I can see Chris Evans after your paint job. I didn't get this figure, I've bought 2 worthy caps in the past and used the unmasked head and did a beard and put on the first Infinity War release - I also printed 2 wakandan shields too.
I am so glad you did this repaint i do not know if you remember but i commented about this a few weeks ago and this is way better than i could have ever imagined
I really like what you did to the suit, and it looks very close to the movie, but the hair feels a little off. Still a huge improvement and I want to see what customs will come out in the future!
Thank you! I do think the painted heads could be better. They look fine from afar, but still not very Chris Evans-like up close. I’ll just squint whenever I look at this figure hahaha
Btw they are crazy toys like a knock off of hot toys they are very cheap but still look very good for the price sadly they are not articulated but still you can make pretty realistic museum pose statues
Really good job! I saw on Instagram that someone repainted this head and it looked exactly like Chris Evans, so it isn't the sculpt that's the issue, it's the paintwork by Hasbro. Always love your Legends videos, I always feel inspired to have a go at customising my own. I just don't feel confident about mixing and applying cheap paint like you can, you're really talented! Would definitely appreciate a video lesson from you explaining the principles of paint and how it works, and then showing us what you do to get the paint ready to apply to figures. That would defo get a lot of views, especially if you titled it something like "How to use cheap acrylic paint to customise action figures" or something similar. I'd also recommend you make yourself an Instagram account for your channel, it would be a different way for you to garner attention for your page and appeal to more people, and it would be an excellent place for all the photos you take 😁
Happy to hear that others are able to fix the head! This figure had so much potential to be better, since it’s the 2nd time they released this version of cap. I like the idea of making a video on how I paint figures. I can see that happening in the future. I do want to refine my own skills more first. I’m still learning as I go haha. I’m more confident in basic posing tips, maybe I’ll do one on that too
@@KenIMakeIt Thanks for replying, and thanks for potentially giving us that useful video! How long ago did you start your customising journey? And yeah that would be a cool video too, always good to get advice on posing :D

This is so impressive.
Captain America looks more human after your repainting. Good job!
You give the figure life. Your colour sense and painting skills help Evan become a real person.

Im glad you did the change because it looks better and i liked the branded chopsticks
😂😂😂
You really improved the heads, it looks way better than the original
Superb repainting job! Your upgrade is always professional! Keep it up 👍👍👍
Nice job! I wish I knew why so many companies seem to have trouble with this suit, and especially getting Chris Evans’ bearded face right…
Awesome job, he looks great.

Amazing re paint bro!!
Wow cool as always love seeing some one fixing the marvel legends figures and making them cool again
No man you had made pretty good point about this figure now that you show other references from others actors I’ve agree with you man 👍🏼

What colors did you use to lighten the skin and highlight the hair? Looks awesome
i like how he's expressing his frustration using that calm voice 😂
Hi Ken, may I know what paint did you use on the face, hair, and body? Thanks in advance.
Good
Wow. The figure was horrible before you painted it. Now it looks great. Nice job 👏👏👏
Thank you! I don’t understand why they went with that blue and hair color 🤔

This is above and beyond! You're so talented, keep up the amazing work. Would you consider recreating a Dr. Strange scene ?

I do! I finally got my hands on one

That's amazing! It looks more like Chris Evens after the paint job 🔥
Thank you!
Ken you also fix up the dc multiverse justice league 2021 figures?
looks great, I just wish Endgame cap was talker.

The quantum suits were my first customs. (I was fine with wrecking them hahaha). That was 5 months ago.
I'm dissapointed too!
I wish in the future you will be able to buy hot toys and creat epic dioramas with them
i kinda like the original version more, but nice try!
I believe on this one they don’t give so much interes how will really look 🤦🏽♂️
I’m disappointed
