I never folded the handle nor used a bag on any walk-behind I've ever owned. I like the sound, smell and power of the troy built. I like that after about 2 hours of mowing tall grass, I'm out of energy before the TB runs out of gas. I like that i can typically repair my gas mower easily. I prefer a 22" blade, i accept 21" and anything less is unacceptable. I would rather use any electric tool (except a flashlight) with an extension cord rather than a battery.
Awesome!!! The Troy Bilt is by far one of the best gas mowers out there. And it runs forever! I don’t know if you watched towards the end of the video, the EGO has a rule violation! This is why I leave it up to folks to figure out which one they prefer. A friend told me to do another test with really high lawn, and to mention that ego cannot mow in the rain. And that is a great point. Thank you for adding your expertise!!!
@@strategyandperformance ty for your reply. You brought up another good point as I have over an acre and parts are pretty bare so I like mowing after a rain because theirs no dust. If you have a lawn business and it's a mild to medium rain, you call it refreshing and soldier on.
The lot is 7,840 sqft. (battery run time 1hr, 20 min) It will do the entire thing and the battery has not died. Battery rated at 55 min. I only use the self propelled feature in the back yard for half the time due to some hills. If I use to self propelled the entire time, I am sure it would last 1 our or the advertised 55 min.
My battery is rated for 55 minutes. But it runs for an hour and 20 minutes. I only use the self-propel option for half of the time because my yard has hills. I’m sure if I ran to self-propelled the entire time, it would probably last an hour.
we have an electric ryobi push mower, ryobi electrichand blower and a ryobi electric pressure washer and we love them!! it really does NOT matter what brand it is,, they all do the same thing and they get the jobs done!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This video is more about laziness than lawn mowers lol virtually everything that doesn't matter is mentioned except maybe maintenance. If you have a nice thick lawn you'll need spare batteries or have to wait to charge the one battery.. I cant see how that saves time.

How much can you do with one EGO battery? Your whole lawn? Roughly how big is your lot?

@@strategyandperformance thx
How long does the battery last ,
My battery is rated for 55 minutes. But it runs for an hour and 20 minutes.
I only use the self-propel option for half of the time because my yard has hills.

My opinion. I'll take troy built anytime over ego.
Troy Built is an excellent lawnmower!
What is the battery ah size?
It’s a 56v lithium-ion 7.5 AH
If you end up getting one, make sure you keep it in a cold dry place. I keep it in a closet inside the house.
@strategyandperformance thank you good sir
