That’s another reason why I like my 2024 Can-Am defender max Limited. It’s got push the brake and you pull up and you have a parking brake to this is true I wish they would at least put that in other Can-Am’s, looks like an easy fix to me. Thank you.
Not sure what kind of access to trails you have but after about 6 hours you tend to get a better feel for what a machine does good and what it doesn’t and i would consider this a trail rig. A Ranger or Defender i would just do some work with it, loading things in the bed & how it dumps a load. Tow some small trailer around to get a sense of how it works. All depends on the machine and what you have available to be able to do. I know some people buy Rangers and trail ride them, but i would test them in the environment they were built for. People will want to see how them perform the way they intend to use them before they spend $40-$50K on these machines cost anymore. Not to put pressure on you but it could save someone a bunch of money on a machine they thought they wanted and it didn’t do want they wanted after they bought it. Noise levels at cruising speeds & heat in the cabs are some of the biggest complaints people seem to always want to know.
Great review. I love the machine. I have the 2 seat version of this. Was my first SXS. Naïvely I was expecting a small jeep like experience. Spent 1K on the standard speaker system. The machine is far too loud to have a conversation in above 5,000 rpm’s let alone to listen to music. You have to crank it until it’s ear piercing. Now I just use a Bose noise canceling headset which has far better quality music. As far a parking and listening to music I doubt the battery would last and quite frankly I hate to hear other people’s loud music so I wouldn’t want to partake in the hypocrisy.
Does not being able to unlock rear differential also create issues if riding on pavement. I ask because when we ride Hatfield McCoys we may ride 700 miles while there. 150 may be on the road. I am thinking the ability to unlock rear differential on this can help protect the rear end. Is this accurate?
Great video TK! For $50k, and given how big that thing is, you need to cross,-test this type of machine vs a jeep Wrangler 4 door. What can this do that a jeep can't that justifies the expense of a pickup truck and trailer to get this thing to the trailhead? Great review! Cheers gents!
As an SXS trail rider I really dislike the sound systems. It takes away from the “get in the woods and explore” feature. Just ride people no need to play music and tune out. Tune into your surroundings.
If you are 6ft & and above, this is not a good fit! The driver's seat doesn't move back far enough. The seat is positioned too upright. I tried to make myself fit, but I decided to think twice about the purchase....it also has this bar that is in the back of the seat so which makes it hard to modify ....it's apart of the frame support!
Best under rated utv for the price ❤❤❤❤
Outstanding review as usual Steve! I agree no parking break is ridiculous. All that pressure on the transmission can’t be good

There are plenty of options at the local gun shop to silence those clowns that need to blast music while they are enjoying nature.
@@atvseatexchange2176if only it was legal, imagine the level of obedience, our society would adhere to.

Everyone down here in the comments are bitching about prices, but what about the $100k+ trucks?!
Awesome
I have a 23 XXC with same motor and that thing with just 100hp is not enough.
Honestly the old one looks way better
Mines has a bad driveshaft vibration

Thank god your opinion doesn’t fucking matter.
