Mbidde is just academic but never practical. The only reason that has maintained our inflation below double digits is the volatile price of produce. If any gov't makes a mistake of controlling prices, the shilling can lose even the remaining dilapidated value. Gov't buying produce from farmers only spikes the corruption - district authorities will high prices even when there's no demand.

Thank you for the show, gentlemen! I like honorable Mukasa Mbidde’s ingenuity and eloquence. You have valid reasons for Ugandan’s development if its leader wished his citizens to get rich. Still, with President Museven’s ideology of its not easy to rule the rich and where the poverty of Ugandans is deliberate by the government in power, you have valid developmental views but are hitting a brick wall.
