That's James Urbaniak from the Venture Brothers, and Dr. 0 is basically an alternate-universe version of Dr. Rusty Venture. Dr. 0 actually has a quote relating to the "giant eyeball" which is a reference to the show. Bethesda was clearly inspired by it. Dr. Venture (as a giant caterpillar): "Apparently this is the reward I get for years of screwing with super-science. In short, I pissed in God's eye... and he blinked." Dr. Orpheus: [after examining Dr. Venture's latest invention] What the hell is this thing made out of? Dr. Venture: [suspiciously] Nothing. Dr. Orpheus: Come on... Easily my favorite of the DLCs. It was full of that kind of jovial super-science humor we've all come to love. Plus it added a lot of the meta-humor that Black Isle was known for: there's more Wild Wasteland (off topic weirdness) spots in Big MT than anywhere else.
I was too young to appreciate the dialogue when I first played this DLC, now coming back to it I'm cackling like a mad man. 10/10 would play again just for the dialogue
It kinda went the opposite direction for me, i feel like those dialogues are way less funny than person writing them thought they are, jokes feel repetitive (ie they tend to have very simmilar punchlines) and there is WAY too much sexual innuendo, it gets old pretty fast, not to mention how bunched up the dialogues are, contributing to the feeling of repetitiveness and draging on. Honestly, I have just replayed OWB and it turned out to he quite a chore.

I mean they’re all great. Honest Hearts had the best character (Joshua and the Survivalist). OWB had the best writing and dialogue (just look at it.) Dead Money had the most wild story with the wildest characters (Dog, Dean, Christine, Elijah.) Lonesome Road had the best map layout and the most intense combat. They all succeed in their own ways. Honest Hearts feels like a gritty Western with dark tones. OWB feels like a drug fueled sci-fi novel. Dead Money feels like a horror-post-apocalyptic amalgamation. Lonesome Road feels like a tale of survival and destiny. And it feels like a well deserved end. They all accomplish something great.

Did anyone else kind of miss this kind of thing from fallout 4? The mad sci-fi dlc I mean. New Vegas has this, Fallout 3 had mothership zeta but nothing for fallout 4
Yeah, all you get is a soda theme park out of a bad trip and building robots, not sarcastic here, I am disapointed the robots you make don't have personalities.
STM fallout 4, weirdly enough, takes itself more seriously than other games in the series. It’s rather sad in my opinion. I don’t care about DiMA and nicks connection. It’s not interesting that there was another prototype synth. The institute is a shitty faction and I do not in the least bit give a shit about them. 200 years of “scientific advancement” and their energy weapons are shittier than the prewar laser weapons, and laughably weaker than the plasma weapons. Coursers are a joke. Gen 1 and 2 synths are pathetic. The institute is pathetically mediocre in and out of lore, and having the plot of fallout 4 revolve around them is just... disappointing. Far harbor’s best moments, to me, come in the form of doing quests for the locals of the dock and learning about their culture. Acadia just... doesn’t interest me, and the children of atom can be COMPLETELY IGNORED after you get DiMA’s memories. They matter THAT LITTLE to the plot of the dlc that you can abandon them after they have been useful and nothing of value is lost, and there are no consequences. Nuka world is dissapointly linear. Either requiring you be evil or miss out on most of the content. That being said, it’s my second favorite, because of the attention it gives to exploring the park and the factions of raiders are, well, mostly interesting I guess. And automatron had SOME campy stuff with the mechanist, but the rust devils kinda betray the idea that the DLC is a joke. It’s just... disappointing.
I love the allegory given as mobius being a personification of the red scare and the nation wide paranoia being expressed by the think tank. A deep story with lots of wild dumb stuff and I absolutely love it!!
My week started off absolutely terrible. Oxhorn Old World Blues makes it so much better!!! Gotta love how Oxhorn manages family friendly commentary regardless of the situation. XP
When I first played this DLC I couldn't help but smile and laugh the entire time. The over the top presentation was completely unexpected in a game like New Vegas. Easily my favorite Fallout DLC.
I seriously think this is the most excited I've ever ever been for a UA-cam video and UA-cam is my main source of entertainment. The time has finally come for old world blues with oxhorn.
Hey, Oxhorn, i know you probably won't ever see this because the video is almost 3 years old but still, i wanna thank you for making all these videos. Rewatching them is so comforting, it puts me in a safe place.
Man, I can't describe how much I love this DLC. Bethesda can only dream about writing something like this. Only if they hire Kirkbride to write the next Fallout games, maybe.
The writing on this DLC always made me laugh, It was one of the better of the DLC for New Vegas imo. Still, my most hated and favorite is Dead Money, but this and Honest Hearts is a close second.
the first time I watched this my eyes only saw doctor Klein so I thought that maybe Klein has multiple personalities took me forever to figure out that there were others standing next to him
I reckon I drove about 100 miles Down a bumpy road out through the wilds When all of sudden I bounced to a stop At the foot of a mountain, didn't have no top.
Samsunganer in order to hate me x6-88 would have to be alive, and considering that the institute is a radiation hell hole now i do not think he can hate me...
Ahh, Olde world blues. The best fallout expansion, and probably one of the best peaces of of content in the entire universe of fallout. It's so creative, unique, experimental, funny, sad, just drenched in that 1950s and sci-if aesthetic. It has an amazing twist and a legit hard moral choice if you don't have the skills. It truly is the essence of fallout.
Man I just got broken up with out of blue with my girlfriend of two years, seeing you cover old world blues definitely helps fill the void that girl left in my heart, keep up the good work ox, you assuredly helped me get over her. Keep up the good work!
Aside from the large amount of ever-continuous dialogue in this DLC, it had some very good loot and scenery. Story being connected with Ulysses and the battle at the dam too.
i remember the first time i played this: after a while i was sitting on the dialogue like "okay... thats a thing... i better go to sleep before my brain dies"
Hey Oxhorn, I just wanted to say that i love your videos. Ever since I got Fallout 4 last month I've been watching a lot of Fallout related videos. Thanks a lot for posting all of this and I'm looking forward for more. Awesome job, Ox.
Oxford I have been a fan of fallout for over 10 years and your videos have been really bringing it back to life for me thank you for all your amazing content ❤
This DLC is a throwback to some of the genuine wackiness of Fallout 2, talking plants, Big Trouble In Little China plot references, chess playing Radscorpions, Low Intelligence Conversations, and New Vegas is better for it.
I like that Ox went through the doctors' personalities and the little details in their rooms and throughout. I never really paid attention to any of them and probably wouldn't have noticed as keenly as Ox :D
Started this again today. Was way too young to understand what was going on when I first played it but I'm SO glad that I'm doing it again. The starting dialogue with the Think Tank is absolute gold!
Old word blues was hilarious and it had a ton of cool mechanics. I can totally see the massive appeal, but when I played it I found it so difficult that it felt almost like a chore
I know this video is old but thank you for making all these videos, I absolutely love the lore and you make them into perfect videos. Thank you a lot again, and you've gotten me into Fallout once more. Keep up the good work man.

Automation was like that had mad robots.
I love the allegory given as mobius being a personification of the red scare and the nation wide paranoia being expressed by the think tank.
A deep story with lots of wild dumb stuff and I absolutely love it!!
These characters are simply beautiful.
My week started off absolutely terrible. Oxhorn Old World Blues makes it so much better!!!
Gotta love how Oxhorn manages family friendly commentary regardless of the situation. XP
savdebunnies like penis feet
Your guy for ham yes
OWB?
HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE!!!
That moment when you enter Big MT and "Begin again" starts playing...
AlHoresmi that song scares me and makes me cry at the same time help
*_PEEEEEEEENIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSS FEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!!!_*
This is, by far, my favorite dlc and series on this channel. I've watched it 3 or 4 times now
Same its my 3rd time
When I first played this DLC I couldn't help but smile and laugh the entire time.
BEST DLC + BEST VOICE ACTOR/CONTENT CREATOR = FUN FEW DAYS
mr name dude
That icon fits perfectly. lol
mr name dude Shit I think I spent a month in the Big MT alone playing this DLC. exploring and collecting everything
"Best DLC"..I didn't know this was Lonesome Road
I love oxhorn. He finds great detail in things I don't even think twice about
Hey, Oxhorn, i know you probably won't ever see this because the video is almost 3 years old but still, i wanna thank you for making all these videos. Rewatching them is so comforting, it puts me in a safe place.
This is my favorite fallout dlc.... I love old sci-fi films so it tickles my fancy just right
Old World Blues!
Time for the SCIENCE!
You wouldn't shoot a think tank with glasses would you?
32:41 was she about to say vibrator 😂
Yeah she what
Yeah..... I'm not even gonna try and ccontemplate how the hell dala can even USE those Energy Cells in her "body".
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me then a frontal lobotomy.
I dunno why I felt it necessity to say that...
Heh, sounds like somebody was Navy.
Weirdly that sounds like something my dad would say and he’s career Navy. Is that something in the Navy?
I'd rather have anything in front of me then a frontal lobotomy.
Man, I can't describe how much I love this DLC. Bethesda can only dream about writing something like this. Only if they hire Kirkbride to write the next Fallout games, maybe.
This whole video is like when your mom gets into a conversation at the grocery store and you just wait forever.
The writing on this DLC always made me laugh, It was one of the better of the DLC for New Vegas imo. Still, my most hated and favorite is Dead Money, but this and Honest Hearts is a close second.
THE MIGHTY RADAR FENCE PROTECTS US ALL
yes
Fwoooooosh! THAT IS THE SOUND OF FLUSHING.
Thewizerdman: Epic Gamer! Lol
the first time I watched this my eyes only saw doctor Klein so I thought that maybe Klein has multiple personalities
took me forever to figure out that there were others standing next to him
I reckon I drove about 100 miles
Down a bumpy road out through the wilds
When all of sudden I bounced to a stop
At the foot of a mountain, didn't have no top.
Uranium Fever
@@aurelioiii5858 has gone and got me down
God, that female robot made me so uncomfortable when I played the DLC.
minutemen soldier X6-88 hated that
Danse hated that
Curie hated that
Lmao she my favorite one but at first she made me feel uneasy too.
Samsunganer in order to hate me x6-88 would have to be alive, and considering that the institute is a radiation hell hole now i do not think he can hate me...
What are you, gay?
Lone Wanderer lmao do you not have broken steel, because it sounds like that radiation fucked your brain up
I thought I heard Rusty Venture! GO TEAM VENTURE! V
That just like dr.venture putting his brain in a jar to avoid responsibility.
I like how you say your choices and you're quiet when they speak. It makes the role playing aspect more fun
"No, 8, you don't need to recharge the sound gun!!"
Man I just got broken up with out of blue with my girlfriend of two years, seeing you cover old world blues definitely helps fill the void that girl left in my heart, keep up the good work ox, you assuredly helped me get over her. Keep up the good work!

Ive rewatched this loooooong cut scene more times than I can remember. Still hilarious as the first time. xD
All the great commentary is probably the funniest thing I've seen in all of Fallout.
On the signal in the beginning it invites you to a movie marathon or something by an ad
Hey Oxhorn, I just wanted to say that i love your videos. Ever since I got Fallout 4 last month I've been watching a lot of Fallout related videos. Thanks a lot for posting all of this and I'm looking forward for more. Awesome job, Ox.
I'm so excited for this DLC Adventure. Old World Blues is my absolute favorite DLC of all 3 "Bethesda" games.
Travis Tonne its my favorite dlc of any game honestly, its just too damn funny
Travis Tonne dude there's way more than just 3 Bethesda games
Oxford I have been a fan of fallout for over 10 years and your videos have been really bringing it back to life for me thank you for all your amazing content ❤
i just came on here to say that!
This DLC is a throwback to some of the genuine wackiness of Fallout 2, talking plants, Big Trouble In Little China plot references, chess playing Radscorpions, Low Intelligence Conversations, and New Vegas is better for it.
Love the new pic!
MrHuntHunt too bad it changed back to his old photo
MrHuntHunt how can i get to science 90 from 61
I loved the brain less park. In my game everyone and there grandmas would head shot me
I like that Ox went through the doctors' personalities and the little details in their rooms and throughout.
Being levelled to 25 and having the right perks helps A LOT
@@theprojectproject01 I realized a while after making this comment that I was extreme under leveled when I played it
Old World Blues = Best DLC
Lone Wanderer LOL 😉
Did anyone notice she almost said vibrator

Holy scientific studies this is like my third time through this DLC and I CANNOT get over this one because IT’S SO OVER THE TOP AND I LOVE IT
I know this video is old but thank you for making all these videos, I absolutely love the lore and you make them into perfect videos. Thank you a lot again, and you've gotten me into Fallout once more. Keep up the good work man.
Holy crap I've been waiting for this. I'm grabbing a snack.
I've been waiting for your input on Old World Blues. Loved the DLC and love your content Oxhorn. Keep up the good work and keep those suspenders set to MAXIMUM stun

The think-tank? Now I know where the LEGO Movie got that name from. Lol
I love the "we cannot give it a gun" part because it reminds me of that one sketch where Bill Cipher gets a gun. Same energy
