In my opinion, the best sprite design we got comes from Sonic Advanced/battle. (I'll admit, I'm EXTREMELY thanks to Super Mario Bros. Z) The best 3D model we ever got is from Unleashed. I really wish they'd bring back thedarker blue and longer quills. The best artstyle for the character comes from the box arts of the adventure games, advance, and rush. (I may be missing a few. I dont care) And I personally disagree with your about movie Sonic. I think the blue arms makes more sense when compared with just about every other character in the series. Also, in Sonic Forces Speed Battle, they temporarily had movie Sonic as an unlockable character, and they had a model that looks more like the games. I personally thought he looked really good.
Certainly a few spicy takes here! Riders in B tier is definitely the spiciest, he looks extremely cool to me, both in general and in the style they chose for 2D cutscenes. I also wasn't expecting Adventure Sonic in S tier since the animations are a bit janky even there, but since you really like Modern Sonic's design, I see where you're coming from. Cool video overall!
Lol I just don't understand that... Are people blind or what? Sonic Riders & Sonic Riders: Zero Graviity in-game cutscene models are perfect in every way. The facial animation there is just unbeatable. This is what Sega should stick to. F**k this modern Frontiers design.
I agree with the riders thing.. BUT SHUT UP ADVENTURE SONIC IS WAY TOO COOL.. we are talking gameplay + art + cutscenes+ cgi.. the art and cgi look so good animations so It doesnt matter.... wait is that a reference??

Can anyone explain to me the problem with classic sonic in generations? It looks like classic sonic, proportions and all, so I’m genuinely confused as to what the issue is.
I honestly think Sonic is in dire need of a design update. The current design has grown so unbelievably stale and it doesn't even fit the voice anymore.

Sonic superstars sonic design is far better than the pixel version to me. Is very smooth and satisfying.
