The thing is, he can’t decide that for people. Or at least that’s how I see it. No matter his view he can’t say that TRILLIONS of people agree with him. That’s just how sentient beings work.

I like to think that the heroes built a fair world with an afterlife and ways to communicate past it.

The irony is that trying to achieve a better world (even for debatable motivations), is a more progressivel and thus a proof of CHANGE.
Our current world is definite by CHANGE, suffering, and death, yet denying an attempt to better it would be an attachement to STATUS QUO, and thus a denial of CHANGE.
In both case, CHANGE can be interpreted very differently...
