I find that everytime I surrender my will to God, I let it go, and forget about it, God intervenes and answers. I've learned now to trust Him fully. Thank you for your testimony. Absolutely amazing!
You tell Him exactly that. You want to trust Him again. Tell Him. Call on the Lord Jesus. "Oh Lord Jesus". In 2Timothy its says "Faith, love peace with those who call on the Lord, out of a pure heart". Sorry I forgot exactly where! But call on Jesus. Spend daily time in the word. Even a few minutes will nurture you. You will begin to feel hope & life again. I'm here for you. Hopefully soon, connect with a local church fellowship. I'm praying for you, sis.
Your video was recommended. I am about half way through and feel shook by how strangely similar your story is to mine. From the college experiences with men, desiring companionship but having more male friends, to being a Christian (I am someone in ministry), and pursuing my PhD. I've had to pause the video because I can not quite believe how incredibly familiar this story is - wow! Thank you for sharing, I feel very seen!

Praying for blessings on your marriage. God is so merciful. He wants us to release these desires to him. Many singles desire marriage but I truly believe exactly what you said…God doesn’t want us to overly focus on it but know in our spirit it will happen.
I have a situation to ask... I met a young lady and feel deeply in love with her... She feel deeply in love with me as well. I went on fasting and prayers. The lord said yes to me. All of a sudden. I began to get opposition from her church. Saying that. A prophet came to her church and said her husband is from American and he is very wealthy. Is it possible I heard God wrong??
@ I can’t say whether you heard God wrong but I will recommend praying and asking God for more signs and confirmation. I also would tell you and her to beware of false prophets. “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.” (Matthew 7:15) Many people call themselves prophet and are not. God will confirm to both of you and likely both of you only His will. The only mediator you need is Christ not her church and this prophet.
Thank you for sharing your journey. It interesting the things we can not control , once we let go of our “control” of the situation we actually get what we want at the right time. Happy for you and marriage! 💜
I believe that God heard your prayer but it wasn't why your marriage was released to you. When God places desires in your heart it's because it's coming to pass or it's something he wants you to know or do pertaining to it. I say this to say that prayer doesn't make God move quicker because things still will happen on his time. I'm communicating this because I know others are going to believe that because they do the same thing it'll happen quickly or the same way when that's not the case. For example with Abraham and Sarah, God didn't go off their impatience and it took time for God to allow it to happen even with the prayers of Sarah! I'm just commenting on this because the caption itself is misleading. God bless you and your union queen❤.. I didn't watch the video because of the title itself..
Hi Trenel I am so glad I came across this video. When I say I am I tears because a lot things you are saying I dealt with. Broken relationships, staying too long when I should left because I knew they were not right for me. Now I am asking God to help me not focus on being married so much. It will happened when it supposed too. Sometimes we feel like it will never happen for us because what we dealt with and we may feel we are out time. But God knows our heart desires.
Hi Shaniqua, thank you so much for watching and finding my channel. I’m so sorry you went through all that but truthfully, consider them all lessons to take on your next relationship and things to work on for your future marriage. God definitely knows the desires of our heart. He has heard our prayers and He’s working on our behalf even when we don’t or can’t see it. Continue to prepare your heart, mind, and character for marriage and He will work things out for you when He thinks you’re ready. 🙏🏾❤️

In the process of praying for 'The one' I always look for this topic in videos that speak about waiting on the Lord. The topic of abstinence seems to always be disregarded and I do believe it's a big factor in a christian dating relationship. Was abstinence a practice that you and your now husband decided to implement in your relationship prior to marriage ?

I been single and celibate 18 plus years at God's request. And he has to bring to my attention to desire marriage. A woman is not supposed to pray for a husband. I've never prayed for a husband.
I wouldn’t say a woman is not supposed to pray for a husband. According to scripture, Philippians 4:6-7 the Bible says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” There is no situation too trivial or desire too grand that God doesn’t want to hear about. Is it His will and will He grant the request is then the question and completely up to God. But the command is to pray about everything. Desiring marriage is also God’s design. He wants the best for us and created marriage at the beginning when He created this world. I commend you for being celibate while you wait for your God-given spouse now for 18 years, but don’t think you can’t or shouldn’t pray for a spouse if that is what you desire. Pray and trust God is working on it. Don’t obsess over the desire. It’s the idolization of marriage that’s the problem, not the desire itself. Hope this helps. 😊

Does this mean men should not include prayer for a potential wife. Not at all. The Bible tells a man to find ( discover) his wife. This means as a praying and biblical man it'll be easier for him to choose by written word if he doesn't hear God audibly. God said it is not good for men to be alone. And then he created a wife. Too many women haven't came to the conclusion women are not single because God is not answering. Men aren't responding to marriage as they should because women won't agree with the word of celibacy. And it keeps men in fornication. When they should be in salvation. I pray this helps. Flesh need to die to sin in order to live by the spirit. Keep your myth believers
I’m listening to your story… praise God that you found a husband, but I can’t help but wonder. Did you actually give yourself enough time to heal from all the past boyfriends, friends with benefits and other men that you were in and out of relationships with? I ask because you obviously created soul ties. So did you give yourself TIME? You even stated that you went to church just because you wanted to find a husband; so your heart was not seeking the Lord. It was seeking the HAND of the Lord. Did you allow the Lord to really work on you and reveal the many facets of Himself to you before marrying you off? It all seems very rushed; not to say that God cannot move with speed, but marriage is no joke and from your testimony, it’s obvious that healing needed to take place. The enemy also sends men because he is not ignorant to your strong desires and patterns of behavior concerning men. Did you consult the Lord? Like, truly hear the voice of God concerning this? Because if this marriage is truly of the Lord, the enemy WILL fight it and this is why the Lord usually deals with His bride concerning warfare, purpose, our character, building stamina in the spirit, prayer life, lust, breaking strongholds and demonic mindsets and simply just giving HIMSELF to us before any man; so we will not only seek companionship, but the Will of God in our marriage.
Hi Alberta, thank you for your comment, and I appreciate and understand your concern. In short, yes, I did give myself time to heal from my past relationships. What I did not note in this video is the timeline of when everything occurred. My last relationship, which started as a "friends with benefits" relationship ended two years before I met my now husband. And I dated my husband for 3.5 years before we got married. So yes, during that time, I healed, grew, matured, and all that during that time. Getting married was not "rushed" at all. It was just the time after I prayed and when God decided to answer my prayer that was quick (less than a month), but that again, was out of my hands and all in His timing which I am completely grateful for! He thought I was ready to meet my spouse-to-be when in my own observation or yours, perhaps would not have thought but that is why His ways are higher than my ways and His thoughts than my thoughts! Last, I would like to share that there were many signs confirming again and again that my husband was the one for me, and the same was true for my husband confirming me. I talked about a few of those signs in this video, if you haven't watched it: ua-cam.com/video/qynI9WQBDhA/v-deo.html but there were many others that I have/did not share. Hope this helps. 🙂
