- China’s bullet trains are honestly incredible. The cost vs. quality ratio is unbelievable, and the speed is ludicrous.
Let's take a look at first class vs. second class on the bullet train in China. What better trip than to the tier 3 city of Jieyang in the Chaoshan region of China.

I’ve been binge-watching some of your vids, particularly the Luckin ones but I find your content very engaging!
I agree. It was the convincing factor to start investing in LK :)
Nice! That’s awesome to hear. I really appreciate you!
Fingers crossed I don’t let you down! 🤞🏻
Come on, don’t slack off now. :) You’re our insider for all things China. 👍🏻
50% different proce between 1st and 2nd class
First class and chuck & cheese 🧀
I really miss the train trips in China, so convenient, so comfortable, so punctual 👍
what about bottom class tickets? whats that experience like?
We'll find out soon enough ;)
Like in India, you get to ride outside of the train and hang on for your dear life!!!!
How’s the business class?
They keep having random lockdowns all over China, so traveling can result in suddenly getting stuck. So I haven’t had the chance to try it yet 😭 You’ll definitely hear about it when I finally get the chance though!
@@thejamescorwin hope all returns to normal and you get a chance to try it out
dude i can't see whats going on
Don’t worry, my videos got much better after this one. Watch a different one.
I am going to China Shenzhen soon and want to try out its highspeed rail. How's the security clearance like? Just scan the QR code on the e-ticket? Need to scan our passports?
During Covid zero it was super obnoxious, but now that things are normal again, it’s super super easy.
In 2015 I brought a puppy on the train in my jacket pocket and they didn’t find her 🤣
You used to have to get your ticket printed as a foreigner, but now the ticket is in their system under your passport number so you just scan your passport when boarding the train. Security when you get to the train station takes about 10 minutes usually. Maybe less.
