I have been for 2 years. I work as registered nurse in nhs. In my opinion, it is not worth coming here compared to the expenses here. 😢 it is better to migrate to other countries like Ireland, Australia or neazealand. I personally worked for care home for long time when i was student too, Why people spend 20 grand n do masters to work in a carehome? It might sound like a big figure but ask people who’s in UK, they won’t have any kind of savings. And career growth opportunities is almost nill for carehome. Yes, if you’re passionate about it do it, nothing wrong in that. But I’ve seen people who are really smart and good in their fields, endup doing carehome jobs just in the name of PR.
