I just purchased an sp404sx. The volume isn’t working. The box is on but there is no sound coming out of the sp. Is there something I’m doing wrong? Do I need batteries?
I don’t even know if I should even tell you this because it’s basically cheating but this what vinyl heads are for. I spend hours every day every week searching for perfect drum samples. The best fucking way, or better yet learn the drums, that’s what I’m doing and I’m 20.

It only works with headphones for me but you can probably connect it to a speaker/amplifier
There’s no internal speaker on the Sp series
External source means external input, not output.
