The story Lupita told has a lot of different variations. The one I heard as a kid was it was a girl, she was the only child and her mother died while giving birth. Her dad was so messed up about it he stopped believing in god and started doing Satanism. When his daughter started going to school all the girls would talk about going through their catholicism thingy, I forgot the name, and she wanted to do it too. The dad told her absolutely not so she went behind his back and did it anyway. When the dad found out, on her special day, he waited outside the church for her and then murdered her in front of it.
