You should do a half moon shaped dock on your pond in the location you were talking about it would be more like a platform but at least you could put 2 chairs and a small table or something else like have it butt right up to the bank of the water or even a bit or land before it hits water so it looks right

That would make a fantastic pond for some koi or aquatic turtles but you would have to put a short fence around it

Be careful with you dog and those lily plants, to my knowledge the are poisonous to dogs if eaten.
@@andrewashley9732 Many plants are toxic to dogs. I have a house full of ZZ plants, Euphorbia and cacti. Many other plants in my garden, like laurel for example are too. Gotta train the dogs to not eat the plants. Pretty simple.

Try building up the side of the pond with dirt or large rocks so you don’t lose your fish when it over flows when it rain.
Try to make that koi pond a community pond with some invertebrates like some colorful crayfish and even some basic fiddler crabs
The pond looks great with all those plants and the Koi Pond looks great with water in it after months of waiting. Great video Paul.

The back pond is going to become a parade for fish great job with the variety of aquatic plants. I agree your idea of adding rocks to opposite of the future dock will be fire. I breed Swordtail, Platy,Sailfin Mollies ,Albino plecos ,and very Rare Red Alpha Swordtail like on my profile pic. I'm in Miami if youd be interested for the front pond. 🐟✌
