I played bass in the band backing up Mr. LaRosa on a number of gigs and loved every minute of it because , not only is he a wonderfully talented singer, his arrangements were magnificent. I was a budding arranger myself back in the mid 70's and learned a lot on the job, so to speak.

I never thought I'd defend someone as self-loving and full of himself as Arthur Godfrey, but if what Julie says is accurate- that henceforth communication between Godfrey and La Rosa must be through his agent... yes, it seems pretty arrogant. The agent could have just said "I now represent Julius," or Julie could have casually informed Godfrey himself.

After the way that that arrogant bully mistreated that poor guy..he would have wished that he never met Arthur Godfrey.
