Thanks for history tour. I'll take your mild morning frost anytime. January alone left us with 144 cm of snow here. On the bright side, I got less than 200 days to go.
Thanks. It's strange, but this video's never really took off or been seen a lot, and I'm not sure why, because I agree with you. Scenery from yon hill is pretty awesome.
It's Kin-noo-ll Hill, my friend. As is the song, the Bonnie Hill o' Kinnoull. Enter it into the UA-cam search box if you want to hear it. Nice little film on a frosty morning, by the way - I can almost smell that hoar!
Many thanks. I think it's just what they term a folly, in that it serves no purpose other than to offer views, and indeed be a part of a view itself, in a landscape.
Loved this one Eddy..yes its a fair hike up, but the rewards are well woth the effort..Myself and other Dundonians pronounce it Kinool. Keep the coming mate.
Many thanks. I somehow thought it was pronounced 'Kinool', but the pronunciation part of 'Walk Highlands', which has got to be one of the best, if not the best, walking websites in Scotland, pronounced it as 'Kinowl'. One thing to say for anyone wishing to photograph Kinnoull Tower: for goodness sake be careful and stay well away from the edge.
Ed as a Perthite as my Tayside neighbours from " Dondeh " said its definitely pronouced " KINOOL" May I suggest the other side of the hill leading through Deuchny Woods to Mc Caigs Tower and views of Scoon and Lower Strathmore .
Good video, Ed. Very professional. Interesting facts and entertaining with it. Well done, sir. My channel is not dissimilar to yours and I think I could learn a thing or two from you.
Nice video, Eddy, was looking at the man watching you talking to the woman.

Lovely view of Perth’s sewage treatment plant from the summit.
Just caught up with this one. One of your best!

Thanks Paul. It was an absolutely freezing day.
Good video, I always go past it on the M90 when I'm Going to Perth, but i always wondered what the tower was
