I am SO in agreement with you on the 4G/5G debate! I have a Huawei P60 Pro and it gets me close to 100Mb/s when I'm at home and also when I'm at the office. Do I need more than that? Of course not. I also have a 5G phone which gets me close to 200Mb/s. Big deal. I have zero use case that needs 200Mb/s while moving around. At my office or at home, I have WiFi6 and that gives me more. The only use case for 5G is Speedtest 🤣
Gloves mode is usually found in Acessibility features in Settings. Or just search for Gloves in Settings. It enables you to still use the screen if you are wearing gloves. In other words, sensitivity is increased. I have Gloves mode on my Huawei Mate 20 X.

Have the Huawei Mate XS2 and find this form factor and fold approach much more convenient.using it over 6 months and not a single scratch on the screen, even tough all reviewers were concerned about it

This may sound a silly question but are the ringtones loud and vibration strong? I have the vivo x fold and I find I miss a lot of notifications and calls when I'm out and about and it's in my pocket. If you had to choose between vivo x fold and huawei mate x3 which would you opt for?
I like to know which. I which I found really annoying on previous Huawei phone is that you couldn't swipe down from the home screen to view notifications and all the WiFi and Bluetooth tabs
@@EVMYT I mad my mind up and got the vivo x fold 2. I really wanted Mate x3 but Android Auto not working and the prices of it is making me not want it. I looked at allot of folding phones and I think the Vivo is the best in my mind. Also I think there is away to get Android Auto working so im going to test it out and let everyone know.
@@AKiiVR i tried with my friends vivo x fold for android auto to work with my car player, it flickers and doesn't connect at all. Using my fold 3, it flickers and I relaunch navigation app and it connects on wireless. Recently i saw a vid saying on vivo its possible on connect with original cable.
Im in Toronto Canada and the 5g connection is strong here, for me I would never buy a device that wasnt 5g capable. 150mbps speeds vs 600plus.. no thanks lol
I can not unselect the tap to show. It stays blue no matter what. I’m using a third party always on display app for now but that’s not great. I have both the global and Chinese versions and can’t get the always on display to display all the time on either.
@@EVMYT there has been scientific tests to prove it drains the battery about 10-20% faster on 5G so I imagine on a foldable 5G would be more of a burden
@@AverageDadOfficial 5G isn’t a scam, only use for 5G I notice is streaming 4-8K content on Netflix and other apps it reduces buffer. 5G is not a significant difference between 4G. The point I’m making is 5G is bad for battery health as it drains it 10-20% faster than if it was on 4G.

ahhh... so it is as simple as wearing gloves! most gloves come with touch pads for phones now but yes, it has that mode i guess!

No Issues yet other that YT studio which goes through Gspace. Yes, AirPods work fine.
Try grammarly keyboard. Its big on fold3 screen.
Vivo X Fold 2 is a way better buy. 5G and gapps is a must for me. The old processor and high price makes this a hard pass

All apps work! Banking apps just have to go through Gspace. Netflix and Disney are in the Huawei app store and i use them both

5G would destroy the battery a lot faster so no 5G is not an issue and probably a benefit for foldables due to the battery usage
That's because you are not using 5G as you are most likely on WIFI :-) 5G is a scam!
