WABABAZ 6-A-Side Father's Day Football Tournament

Father's Day is a celebration that honours fathers and celebrates fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society.
The Telkom family celebrates the lives and legacies of all fathers, and father figures, past and present, who inspire us every day to build on their legacy and model their strength to achieve our wildest dreams, and strive to be better versions of ourselves.
To mark this year’s celebration, we held the WABABAZ 6-a-Side Father's Day Football Tournament. A total of 14 teams took part in the fun-filled day at the Arena One atro-turf pitch, at the Galleria Mall, Nairobi.
The winners of this inaugural tourney were the Incognito Team - largely made up of colleagues from our Network Planning and Implementation Department who beat the Cool Kids (HR, Legal, Comms, Real Estate, Security and Investigation) 2-0 in a hard fought final.
From the Telkom Family, we wish all fathers and father figures a Happy Father's Day.
