I search for a week....everytime a watch missed 1or 2 features. Now i found you and this watch. And this is it! It has everyting i wished for...i subscribed to your chanel
Rob - that was my watch you reviewed five years ago! It was my first “nice” watch purchase and set the benchmark all other watches have been measured against ever since. It’s the perfect size, super legible, tough, crazy comfortable, and I’ve been forever spoiled by the quick adjust clasp! In the last five years well over 20 watches have come and gone, but the Promaster is a forever keeper. My BlackBay 58 gets most of my wrist time these days, but the little Citizen is still a favorite. Also the DuraTect treatment is great, the clasp is a little scratched up, the bracelet has some very minor scratches, but the watch head is pristine.
Green, blue, or original black dial (with black ano outer ring), no matter which one you pick this is a total BEAST. The ultimate grab-n-go field watch. Nato/Zulu strap? Yessss!
Bought this in Japan a few months ago for a song with the weak yen. I love it - especially the on-the-fly adjustment that the Pro-master Tough is missing.
I wish Seiko and Citizen would just do a few time only field watches. This looks so sharp apart from the day-date window which spoils it for me. Sorry to be that guy.
I have the Black Dial ProMaster Land 2952 and I absolutely love it. Definitely a top 3 watch for me in terms of wrist wear time. That Green Dial POPS I love that the seconds hand is all-white as well. Mine has a black/yelllow seconds hand. Just one of the greatest Field Watches out there right now.
I had this watch for a while and like you said, I did not find it intuitive to set. I did use the app but it just seemed like it was more problem than it was worth.
With 200m water resist, I would have liked to have seen 2 and 4 o'clock screw down crowns to give this watch a super compresser vibe. I have had issues in the past with pushers moving on chronograph watches and leaking. Not with the old Seiko Flightmaster with its screw down pushers.
Ive wanted the blue dial version with the red second hand for a whilenow. I keep finding protreks or gshocks I want more though. I wish they either brought this watch over here or let the atomic time work here. I tried the app thing on another watch and its a bit of a pain in the ass.
Es un reloj muy bonito pero los eco drive son relojes para diario como hagas rotación y lo dejes en la caja al final los acumuladores faltan. Por experiencia propia.

Yes it is. I have one in grey it does everything.
Everything? Nah, It doesn't even have a stopwatch or an alarm so IMO a $16.86 Casio F91-W beats this, well it does more at least. 😉

Yeah I wish the Promaster Tough had that adjustment feature. It should be standard on all bracelet watches at this point.
I own the black and green versions of this model. Absolutely love them. As a grab and go it’s perfect.
Clock Wave app works great. Just set it to the JJY tower. Only have to do it a few times a year since it's quartz and has a perpetual calender.
Got the newer version of these, AT6080, amazing watch !

I'm that guy too. I really dislike date windows. They often ruin a great face.
I wish more watches had a day-date.
@@folksurvivalsame. It’s practical.
I am so happy it has a day date window...for me it's THE WATCH
Im a no date man, but this is one of the best day date integrations, the kanji date adds charm

I don’t know how I never heard of this. A micro adjust on the fly clasp too 🤯
I own the exact same watch. Bought used. Fantastic watch.

The app never even worked for me. Why they just didn't do multiband 6?
@@MrBacchus18 Because it's a JDM product only but still they should have included all bands because of Japanese people traveling with this watch.
@@folksurvival that's what I thought even in Japan no multiband is a miss
they had on-the-fly 5 years ago, but now they don't on most models? how strange is that?
I had one and I'll say it's great if you live in Japan. I couldn't get the app thing to synch and setting it by hand is fiddly.
Killer price! I have it and love it.

👍👍👍 LEGENDARY WATCH MAKE BY CITIZEN BRAND WATCH 👍👍👍

Had one, but the combination of the small size and the hassle of dealing with an emulator on the phone to get it to synch was not worth it to me.
Best field watch in the world once you get it on a maratac titanium
Thats weird on the radio control thing. I have one of their radio controlled watches and it works here in the states.
It depends on the model.
