I’m gonna be honest. In spite of all the hate it gets for making the Prince edgy, the edginess, as well as the rest of Warrior Within was important for the story in Two Thrones to make sense, especially at the final boss when you fight the Dark Prince himself.

Interesting fact is that the initial concept of the third game was the so called "Kindred blades" - there Kaileena would sacrifice herself, so the prince can turn the tide on the siege. He can morph into the dark prince at will and would not lose health. It looked more bloody and awesome :D

Well that wasn't part of the game actually . It was a trailer for the 3rd part. There is a moment like that, but not so good :) Nevertheless Prince of Persia is one of the best and exiting games ever made with rich and fun story - I recommend it to you.
Ubisoft could have easily branched off a new story when Kaileena said "I'm glad you've found your place prince, now I have to find mine in a different world." It won't be as epic as the first trilogy, but for God's sake, its better than PoP4... As she is traversing mirror worlds to find a world that would accept her. she stumbles on a different Prince of Persia who has become King of Babylon and is under siege. He hears rumors about her, and seeks for her strength to win the war. TADAAA.
okay I'll explain u how did Dark Prince came out:As u can see the Vizier killed Kaileena and she began to spread a Sand Corruption around the Babylon affecting the Vizier's Henchman(yeah the woman and that guy with mask and also there are 2 more) and Soliders transforming them into Sand Monsters.But with this Corruption the Prince was corrupted too(u can see in the scene when he snaps the Daggertail and his hand is dark a bit).If u play PoP 3 u'll see how it happens.Play as Dark Prince is kewl
Well the order is: 1. Prince of Persia: the sands of time 2. Prince of Persia: Warrior within 3.Prince of Perisa: the two thrones/rival swords(in PSP) 4. Prince of Persia 5.Princ of Perisa: The forgotten sands well as for me i haven't played the warrior within and the new series but i think i have to say The "sand wraith" is kinda intriguing.
1) i have played pop 3 and it ends killing the vizir it has no an alternative end like prince of persia 2 (pop) and you stay with farah (pop1) 2) when the vizir killed kaylehena, the sands inside her, explode contaminating everything around them, but with the prince , the sands gave life to his dark side, that why the dark prince came out he is the dark feelings of the prince

@Glatzial No it isn't. In the original story, the Prince did not have brothers. That game is set to take place after the Movie. Still a good game, though.
