Sands of Time, the story of a man with nothing to lose. Warrior Within, the story of a man who lost more than he thought he could. Two Thrones, the story of a man who goes from being lost to finding hope. This trilogy is one of the few grand masterpieces in gaming.

Not really. Before the betrayal of Farah it is like "c'mon, you are almost there" After Farah's betrayal it feels much more like "Faster! FASTER!!! She is gonna die if you don't move!", and it is intensified by the battles, because the new sword kills instantly, making the battles frenetic.
the girl voice she is talking with arabic words she is saying ahhhhhh yaliil yalil that mean oooooh my night oooh my night . in the eastern culture they complain their problem to the night specifically in their music. when you have big problems you stay awake because you think too much so to release your worries you have to talk to friend but their is no one to talk to except the night you are live in i think you get the picture sorry for my english !!
One thing i loved about in the Sands of Times is the great crescendo. The prince got from fully clothed with no scratch to naked chest with scars on his body. Then there the music getting more tense and dramatic as you go further leading to this final mob encounter theme. Damn by thinking of it this sound a lot like Die Hard :D
That elevator fight was so intense even with the full otk to mobs, whats hard is balancing keeping her alive and you staying alive, its so majestic and epic
9 out of 10 psycologists say rewinding time is hazardous to your health, because only thee who weilds the dagger remembers the alternate reality. It may cause you to see strange women, jump to conclusions on marriage and love, see your worst fears, and, in rare cases, cause you to do suicidal actions such as climbing the exterior of towers
Nevermind the battle when Farah falls to her death, or the duel with the Vizier, to me the elevator is the hardest part of the game. I've never gotten past it on a first attempt.
It took a few times, but I can first-attempt that lift fight now. One exploit I found within the mechanics is that if you're locked on to an enemy, back into a wall and double-tap X, you can vault any enemy (including the elite guards), and even vault-retrieve them. The only enemies you can't vault-retrieve are the basic club-hulks. From there, it's all about timing the perfect Mega-Freeze.

We did get The Forgotten Sands, and a few other little things here and there (such as a Sands Of Time-themed remake of the original side-scroller). But yeah, I'd love to see a remaster of these games come to newer generations of consoles

half 3 in the morning, playing all night, near the end, fighting with this music up loud in the lift sequence - so intense! one of the most epic games ever made IMO
i really hope Ubisoft does an HD remake of the PoP trilogy for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4. i know they sort of did that for the PS3 but i'm talking all remastered and updated graphics and everything, kind of what like Lionhead did with Fable Anniversary. but i doubt that'll happen, Ubisoft is milking Assassin's Creed for all it's worth.
One can only dream.. I definitely hope they do with it the same that went with shadow of the colossus.. imagine today's graphics in the sands of time trilogy...
YES!!! I've been looking for this! This is such an awesome, epic song, and makes you feel like suck a badass when you're fighting enemys! And UNLIKE silly Warrior Within, doesn't need a SINGLE distorted guitar to do so! It's just naturally awesome!
What a journey. From the brave but inexperianced prince up to a ruthless and effective combatant. Cheating Death on a regular basis to deflect the previously fatal blow and turn it into a victory. Ubisoft used to make good games man
I will forgive the Remake’s visuals if they leave this song untouched.

And it doesn't really mean anything for the context of this game, but the closest thing that has meaning, in this case at least, is saying "what a night" as if you're saying it was such a tough night or something like that
So, my only guess of them choosing "ليل" is because it's such a rhyming word don't you think? Arabic is really beautiful, especially its poetry
@@sparrow6437thank you for your answer! I think they might used "yalayl" just to give a little hint/spoiler when final fight will take place and Prince fate will be decided ( final fight with Vezyr is taking place at palace during night)
this indescribable soundtrack always always..made me cry..so beautiful..love pop 4ever
had some of the best moments of my life playing this game as a 5 year old...and now i'm listening to this battle track-may I say one of the best video game tracks ever-and I remember these great times... Now I think i'm old enough to judge: The Sands Of Time is definetly one of the greatest games ever created and the best part of the original trilogy...
Nostalgia)
nostalgia hit hard on this one
Sands of time was my fav POP it was just mindblowing! Those platforms!
Like every year I'll wait for the E3 and maybe like every year will get disappointed but I sure as hell never gonna lose hope. Prince of Persia isn't just a game it's an emotion.
I love this soundtrack I hope so bad that this song shows up in the remake, this is astonishing.
This soundtrack shows the powerful sand enemies with large sword and insulting mission is the elevator that prince and Farah may die at any time
@szegediandrei It's actually "Sit down, and I will tell you a tale like none of which you have ever heard."
The last fight, amazing
Ubisoft's only game that worth prize
Preach^
Beyond good and evil was great too
bought it for 1$
Ata'm napiyorsunuz ?
Sad but true
Still have the game this whole soundtrack is amazing
Never knew that fighting regular enemies would sound so good. Greatest game in the SoT sub-series
Thousends thumbs up to you! Thats exactly how I feel about SOT, the other POPs never got that close to a epic dreamy feeling!
half 3 in the morning, playing all night, near the end, fighting with this music up loud in the lift sequence - so intense! one of the most epic games ever made IMO
i really hope Ubisoft does an HD remake of the PoP trilogy for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4. i know they sort of did that for the PS3 but i'm talking all remastered and updated graphics and everything, kind of what like Lionhead did with Fable Anniversary.
but i doubt that'll happen, Ubisoft is milking Assassin's Creed for all it's worth.
And PC, hopefully
aw shoot i forgot about PC, definitely PC too.
more than a remaster a complete remake and adding extra scenarios like prince of ersia revelations for de PSP did with warrior within
One can only dream.. I definitely hope they do with it the same that went with shadow of the colossus.. imagine today's graphics in the sands of time trilogy...
It’s coming
You WERE puberty? Effing hell, I thought just going through it was bad enough, but you became the whole damn concept! You deserve a medal for that.
The music feels energy in me
YES!!! I've been looking for this! This is such an awesome, epic song, and makes you feel like suck a badass when you're fighting enemys! And UNLIKE silly Warrior Within, doesn't need a SINGLE distorted guitar to do so! It's just naturally awesome!
This is so awesome!!
True masterpiece.
What a journey.
From the brave but inexperianced prince up to a ruthless and effective combatant. Cheating Death on a regular basis to deflect the previously fatal blow and turn it into a victory.
Ubisoft used to make good games man
Amazing game with amazing background music........
Only my 3D favorite game
Damn i miss this game.
Нет я не плачу , просто ностальгия в глаз попала
This game is great and the music is even better!!!♥
So many good memories come back from this song!
