Color theory & phototypes for microblading & permanent makeup

what is a phototype? what is the undertone?
but above all ... why do we need to know it?
If you want to perform the right permanent make-up or microblading, you should know how to correctly identify the undertones of your clients' skin otherwise you run the risk that the color of the tattoo will turn RED or GRAY.
If you want to avoid unpleasant color changes I suggest you start by using neutral shades.
Here are my favorites for eyebrows:
HOLLYWOOD by Biotek: it is an ash blonde
IBIZA by Biotek: is a neutral light brown / dark blonde
PARIS by Biotek: it is a neutral medium brown
MILAN by Biotek: it is a neutral dark brown
VENICE by Biotek is a neutral extra dark brown

I took an advanced pmu class and my instructor told me “just pick neutral for everyone”and you will be fine…lies lies..laziness…if your clients tends to be more warm skin use a cool color soo it can neutralize the warmth nd won’t heal red..if your client has more pinkish and burns outside on the sun she is probably cool..then use a warmth brown to neutralize that cool and it won’t heal blue eyebrows… nd if she has warmth and cool you can use neutral!
