  • Confused about what pigment to use on your client?
Watch this Color & Skin Theory Basics Presentation. You will learn the basics and understand what colors not to use. Please keep in mind that skin color is one thing and skin pigment (melanin) is different. Melanin changes the pigment applied when absorbed and healed. This video is designed to help you decide which color will bring the best brow color outcome.
For those that are makeup artists, or cosmetologists the colors palette education you received is for skin color not tattooing, your current knowledge will bump heads with this permanent makeup education. Enjoy!

Once I applied a cool Brow tone to a person with warm skin tone to “balance it out” and it turned blue on her. Ever since I use warm tones with warm skins and cool tones with cool skin and my life is so much easier. Their brows look amazing

This is completely wrong🤦🏾Complexions and Undertones have nothing to do with each other. I'm a 5 on the Fitzpatrick scale but I am a Neutral with both Yellow and Blue undertones. Most red heads have COOL undertones not warm. Jennifer Aniston is warm not a cool. Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba are neutral. Black is NOT a undertone!! The undertones are Pink, Blue, Peach, Orange, Yellow, Red, Purple, Green. Ma'am I know you're trying to help but your scale is wrong.

How do you know which brown inks have ash in them?
    Is it the lighter browns?

See I learned the complete opposite of this .. for example if the skin gets red when exposed to sun or you are prone to redness with alcohol etc you are Warm not cool .. cool are people with olive skin who don’t burn but actually tan and these people have more green ( blue ) in their skin .. these people are blue. I don’t go by the undertone or the veins etc. Thankfully non of my jobs have ever changed color always have desaturated very well ... good video tho

This applies to microblading and not hair, it's slightly different.
