It was kind of obvious to me that those orange things in the water couldn't be anything but rocks. Your painting inspired me to do a master study of this painting as well.

this was so helpful, I genuinely haven't realized the thing about going from dark to light, and I've been painting since 2018 ifewhfwefih

In some parts of the world, cooler climates, like where I live, the moss / colour can often be bright orange, on rocks around the ocean particularly. Someone else in the comments has also mentioned rocks. That’s what they’ll be. ☺️ such a good demo. Wished I’d seen it sooner, just to show kids at school the process!

Very nicely done. (The objects in the water appear to me to be rocks). You got the Monet diffused 'glow' down! Congrats!

When you mention the "orange things in the water" are you referring to the rocks?

Not Bad. The water of the "antibes" Painting turned out in such a nice colour. In mine it turned out a bit too dark for the Cote d'Azure

    The original was 65.5x92.4 cm. Or 25 3/4 × 36 1/2 inches. Painted in 1888. 😁😉

Great video, but the main thing was that I couldnt concentrate on what you were saying because of the music, is it a necessity?

Is there much practical difference between liquin and linseed oil just in terms of workability and how exactly you use it or is it mostly drying time?

I find broken colour so hard in oil, maybe I'm painting too small but it takes a lot of discipline doesnt it

I know that you have the right to make your video anyway you want, but I couldn't watch more than a minute of it because of the loud, distracting background music.
I just don't understand why some channels do this in an art tutorial, especially when you are showcasing the dreamy, Zen like style of Monet.
