Yep, every time.
Thanks for the free education.
Always test Spot!! Better Safe than sorry..
Another good video as usual. I always do test spots even if it hasn't been repainted. Just got in the habit of doing it every time, makes you not have to think about if it has been repainted or not.
I test every house regardless. Great video!
Yes, I've learned to pre-test areas on different substrates. I saw a video that you posted for us and what happened after the house wash.
When in question I try to have homeowner show me paint with voc less than .50 otherwise for me it's just using water
Scott,Love your videos and watch them often! Keep up the good work!
I do have a question….
How to your charge rinsing/washing asphalt parking lots to remove mud? I know not to add chemicals and high pressure. Just curious if there is a standard way to cost it? Do you know?
Just courious if it did turn what would be your next step. Wash it with no Sh or step away from it.
Just use a non bleach house wash!!
@@kempatkinson2435 Thank you
I've washed my parents house, I painted it with Sherwin Williams emerald acrylic it's a blueish lighter gray. I just used dawn up streamed with hot water thermostat set at 130degrees had no issues. I found that some areas where dirt splashed up had to be scrubbed. But super clean degreaser 4:1 works great for fly spots, and did no harm to the paint. But do a test spot 👍
I used a x jet with sh 1.5% final ratio, For the gutters and soffit, keep the paint wet and rinse any over spray and you'll be fine.
Great advice. I always hit with a super hot in multiple small areas to make sure. Theory is if the HOT mix doesn't touch it then the house wash most certainly won't. Definitely worth doing.
Facts
Whats up
If it's not molded or mildew or green there's no reason to use s h
We do anyways to make sure it's clean and to brighten the white
If you don't have bugs and spire webs you should not use s h
Why is that??
Oh i hate light grey. Does noy always fade right away. Red is easy. Buy grey. Yeah i hate light grey
I just pre wet, never had a problem
I'm a painter and was just going to say ask the homeowner if they have the paint but you know. I'm guessing the cheaper paints are giving yall problems in general.
No it's the organic high dollar paints
@@ScottCleansIt I think you mean low VOC
Are you washing down with 1.5% sh that's why you use that mix to test with.. or is 1.5 enough for test, and 6% wont make a difference?
Rule of thumb is test it hot. I washed with 1-1.5
Are you a Christian??
Yes
Praise God that makes to of us
