I'm truly sorry for your loss. The government needs to figure out how they can ban and do away with Fentanyl. These pharmaceutical companies need to come up with some other way to help stop this crisis with Fentanyl.
Dear Julie and family, Deepest condolences on your loss of your beautiful son, Tyler. It was not your fault. Sharing your story will help someone. May God give you strength and peace in the coming days. Hugs.

My daughter just overdosed a week ago, and I found her. They brought her back. She bought two fake Percocet's, but she knew they were laced with fentanyl. I can finally say that I can relate to the mother's out there who have found their children. This opioid crisis is pure evil.
Hi! I’m thankful your daughter made it through. I’m wondering if you are aware that you can have NARCAN at your house. I also carry it in my purse. They just made it so you can get it over the counter but if you get a prescription from either your doctor or I believe in most states, the pharmacist can write a prescription then the Narcan can go on your insurance and you pay whatever your insurance is. Our county health department also gives Narcan out for free. As much as anyone needs is all free, so that’s another avenue to get NARCAN . Anyway, I hope you if you don’t already have NARCAN it’s your home and carry it. I hope you do look into having some on hand. It can be the difference between a life and a death. I narcan-ed my son once, a few years ago. It is absolutely uncanny how that stuff works! ❤❤❤✌🏻
This isn't an opioid crisis. This is a fentanyl crisis. Fentanyl comes from Mexican laboratories who synthesize it using precursor chemicals shipped from China. It's all part of a plan. Thinning the herd. China is slowly taking over this country without firing a single shot. And your daughter isn't too bright taking pills she bought off the street. I mean, come on.
So very sorry for your loss. I lost my 22 year old son from a brain bleed! Finding him gone was so incredibly awful. He still had his earbuds in listening to music! It’s life changing for sure! Parents should never ever have to bury their kids!

Fentanyl = one strike and your out. This still hasn't been fully recognized as the public health crisis that it is. Education of teens and young adults regarding the extreme risk of fentanyl and other opioids hasn't kept pace with the spread of this pandemic.
Your precious Tyler......so beautiful so smart....he could have defiantly solved this planets problem, especially the poison of fentynal....I have lost 4 family members to this poison....one of my dau in laws had a 6 month old son...all of them had little children....being numb is ok
I want to say this to the announcer as gently as I can, and I want to express my deepest heart-felt sympathy for anyone who has experienced losing a family member, loved one, friend, or someone you know to drug poisoning and overdose. I lost a 24 yr. old cousin to an overdose back in the 90's. She left a beautiful 2 year old daughter behind.... What we are seeing now is a public health crisis. But every crisis has a root issue. The root issue for this crisis is personal choices. individual(s), whatever their reasons may be, have made a personal choice. There is always a beginning.....a FIRST ONE. I will explain..... All addictions and chemical dependencies begin with THAT FIRST ONE - whether it be that first cigarette, that first drink, that first joint, that first pill, that first line, that first hit. THAT FIRST ONE. Many many tragic and untimely deaths from fentanyl poisonings were the result of an individual just trying THAT FIRST ONE. TRUTH: Prescription drugs, used as prescribed by a medical doctor and dispensed from a licensed pharmacy are legal , regulated, and free of illicit substances. Recreational marijuana is now legal in many states and can be purchased at state licensed and regulated dispenseries if you are 21 or older. Children, teens, young adults and the like need to understand that purchasing any drug from a dealer or accepting pills from a "friend" or someone you think you trust outside of a legitimate prescription written for that individual exclusively is not only illegal but they are potentially risking death. It may look like a duck, and walk like a duck, and sound like a duck - but things are not always as they appear. Carefully veiled under all of those feathers is the Grim Reaper waiting to take you. And its name is Fentanyl. We parents are now faced with having hard conversations with our children, teens, and young adults. And this is the first line of defense - the family. If your child is suffering from any mental health issue, seek help and treatment for them immediately. This is the second line of defense. If they need medication for depression or anxiety or for any other mental health issue that can be treated and managed by prescription medications and psychotherapy/counseling, do not delay. Then there are those who are seeking to self-medicate to escape their pain, sadness and feelings of despair. Perhaps they believe "getting high" by taking illicit street drugs is going to take their mind to a better place. But then the illusion will wear off quickly and that ONE THING won't be enough. I have heard it said that the first high is as high as you will ever go, and then its all downhill from there. And before you know it, you have become an addict. That is, if you havent lost the Fentanyl game of Russian Roulette at this point. I have nothing but compassion for those who are addicts and are chemically and psychologically dependent. And they struggle in more ways than we all can imagine. They need compassion and support as well. In closing, I wish to address the illicit drugs being sold on our streets that children, teens and young adults have access to either through dealers, distributors or from someone you know. It only takes JUST ONE. Whether it is the very first ONE or the very last ONE. Either you will become addicted or you will die. It doesnt matter whether its from a "friend" or someone you trust. There are options available you that will not turn you into an addict (and ruin everyones lives, including your own) or even kill you (Which would devastate the hearts and minds of everyone around you). There is hope. And there is a better way. And it is the way that leads to life. Choose life, and SAY "NO" to JUST ONE. Blessings 💝
You aren't wrong from a medical point of view. The problem is that medical grade formulations (suboxone, methadone) that are regulated and safe, they treat the physical aspect of addiction but they do not treat the emotional or genetic components. Probably a vaccine is a more promising solution.
When a kid goes off to college he/she can also die from overdrinking alcohol. I never had any extra money in college so I couldn't buy beer, cigarettes or marijuana.
@@Julia-b9x Not really, having extra money for drugs, cigarette, marijuana and alcohol IS the problem. You have to have the money to buy it. I had none.
@@crand20033 - The problem extends WAY beyond money. If having money played a role like you imply, only wealthy people would be dying from fentanyl, and that is not the case.
@@Julia-b9x No true buddy, I didn't even have an extra 5 dollars. My dad paid for tuition, dorm and books. That is all I had. I had no money for anything whatsoever.
Im sorry but its hard for me to empathize with people who are made a clear choice, are in their right mind, to choose to do drugs knowing its fifty fifty and you take that chance. I tell my brother all the time do not expect tears at your funeral if you get in a dui and your the one to blame, and you happened to hurt someone else too. "It only takes once," thats what we preach to our kids about pregnancy why isnt it common sense for drugs? It makes me angry to see that it has to be someone who never did drugs to all of a sudden get the attention of the nation of something we've been asking to get rid of for awhile now.
Sadly I have 2 say by my own experience we have 2 make this come out in da news cause da media u tube even though it helps but da news is way more in view 4 ppl 2 c p focus more watching da news than in media and I say from my own experience da news is much world wide world view how ever we want 2 call it than da media get da msges 2 da news ppl if u want explosion of good news God bless da world and much respects 4 those who r suffering 4 there loss u loved 1 r in heaven
So very sorry. I have listened over 50 tragic stories from devastated parents who have lost their Children bc of fentanyl 😢. So many have shared how brilliant, talented & funny their boys were. Also, many were accomplished musicians. This is an American travesty! We need Nationwide BILLBOARDS & much more HIGH PROFILE EDUCATION at schools, churches, families ets!
The one thing that irks me about all these documentaries is how they all say it was accidental poisoning. My daughters best friend died of a Fentanyl overdose and she knew she was taking drugs mixed with it. Most of these kids know, they just think they are invincible. My heart breaks for all their families left behind.
I'm wondering what's called in these kids to do the drugs I'm working Kids teenagers and young adults That we have found with these children Ain't a And the parents have no clue that they haven't They have They need mental health and you have to date bubbling you have the kids being bullied on the Internet there's something triggering this that they're not telling their parents because you can't tell me today that nobody knows how dangerously these drugs are nobody's putting a gun to their head to take the drugs they know it's dangerous so why did they take the drugs That means we have fine working with these kids done in something Needed You need to take them places you need them to feel like they're important that there's somebody and one thing a lot of parents do what you hear This is my house it's my way or it's the high How do you think that makes them feel Love light care I do they feel less than there's so much going on here beside the kids taking the drugs was God gave us all free will and that's not a child today even 10 years old I don't know this drug is dangerous😮
We also have to think about members of the public that are experiencing depression that leads to suicide. My life is kind of shity right now unfortunately it's because I didn't or could not save for retirement. I've had a lot of jobs in the past and they're all contract I never was able to save anyting for retirement. I'm a exhausted Expendable product of predatory capitalization. I live in a state we're basically you have no workers rights it's considered an at-will state. In the 1990s it was terrible for me because I've always had jobs I didn't last very long either because the company failed, or because of the wrong business model we're only got paid based on the job performed. The amount of work coming into the garage or to the shop was terrible and so are my wages. Predatory capitalization they're not as fascism has prevented me from having any kind of retirement and now I'm over 50, I have diabetes and nobody hires old people.
@TheTechnicianWithaHeart Just wanted to say .... all your employment and other life experiences means you DO still have much to offer.👌 If you can get a handle on your diabetes now, have it managed the best you can -- and that may involve some education sessions with a Diabetic Nurse -- then there IS a path forward for you. It may not be the one you expected .... it may not be in a garage or machine shop .... but you are a thoughtful communicator. Just letting my mind go here .... I could envisage you working as a Diabetes Support Worker, a Teacher's Aide, a school bus driver. Anything different from your past jobs may require some Retraining. But I get the feeling you're up for it. No denying, you've got a tough hill to get over at the moment. I wish you the very best .... draw on the strength of your ancestors.
That’s the scariest , when you’re so smart and you have a drug problem . You’re brain is probably on go as it is & you add drugs to the mix . A bad combo😢
A really bad video......just come out and state how he got involved in drugs and what was the best solution in saving him. Stop all the fancy meaningless video garbage. The main reason for this video should have been how to stop kids from getting into drugs.
You look like a smart mother, but you didn't teach him to obey the leaders of your country, the world. You didn't teach him to find the right answer, but only to blame.

Blessings 💝
Very sad
Sobriety isn’t for everyone. Also, homeless trash addiction isn’t the alternative for people who can’t or don’t need to stay sober.
I think you missed the point of this clip.
@@crand20033 This video is not about you and your time at college, it's about the fentanyl crises going on today.
THE DEVIL IS ALL IN THIS DRUG TO MY YOUNG BABIES TELL PEOPLE NO IF U DID NOT GET THEM FROM A REAL DOCTOR REST ON CUTIE
Say "NO to "THAT FIRST ONE" 💝
Do we need to legally supply opioid instead if getting them on the street
25% or more of street drugs are laced withe Fentanyl or Tranq
I feel isolated now because I’m not a V-teamer
Im sorry but its hard for me to empathize with people who are made a clear choice, are in their right mind, to choose to do drugs knowing its fifty fifty and you take that chance. I tell my brother all the time do not expect tears at your funeral if you get in a dui and your the one to blame, and you happened to hurt someone else too. "It only takes once," thats what we preach to our kids about pregnancy why isnt it common sense for drugs? It makes me angry to see that it has to be someone who never did drugs to all of a sudden get the attention of the nation of something we've been asking to get rid of for awhile now.
💔
Sadly I have 2 say by my own experience we have 2 make this come out in da news cause da media u tube even though it helps but da news is way more in view 4 ppl 2 c p focus more watching da news than in media and I say from my own experience da news is much world wide world view how ever we want 2 call it than da media get da msges 2 da news ppl if u want explosion of good news God bless da world and much respects 4 those who r suffering 4 there loss u loved 1 r in heaven
Should have just gotten on a Suboxone or Methadone and stayed in it. Relapsing is too dangerous these days
So very sorry. I have listened over 50 tragic stories from devastated parents who have lost their
Children bc of fentanyl 😢.
So many have shared how brilliant, talented & funny their boys were. Also, many were accomplished musicians. This is an American travesty!
We need Nationwide BILLBOARDS & much more HIGH PROFILE EDUCATION at schools, churches, families ets!
And! He was South Paw 🤭❣️
When are we going to start blaming humans ? A. Probably never.
The one thing that irks me about all these documentaries is how they all say it was accidental poisoning. My daughters best friend died of a Fentanyl overdose and she knew she was taking drugs mixed with it. Most of these kids know, they just think they are invincible. My heart breaks for all their families left behind.
@@josephinevera9966 then they need to go bye-bye. Thinning of the herd.
😪
Tragic
shit, powerful
Expired drugs just laying around the house ? 🤔
FENTANYL: "THE GREAT ALLY".
WAAAAA😫😫
Yep
Codified law
His risky behavior in buying a counterfeit opioid pill from the street is the real issue here, not the ingredients.
It may take not been some scary dealer but another highschool peer these drugs are super accessible over social media
A really bad video......just come out and state how he got involved in drugs and what was the best solution in saving him. Stop all the fancy meaningless video garbage.
The main reason for this video should have been how to stop kids from getting into drugs.
But that would involve being responsible
You look like a smart mother, but you didn't teach him to obey the leaders of your country, the world. You didn't teach him to find the right answer, but only to blame.
Your precious Tyler......so beautiful so smart....he could have defiantly solved this planets problem, especially the poison of fentynal....I have lost 4 family members to this poison....one of my dau in laws had a 6 month old son...all of them had little children....being numb is ok
