Great and unique build! Love the bamboo and doors. Are the doors strong enough though? Paper is easy to tear and people who aren't gentle with the doors will probably tear it pretty fast boondocking. Also you have the toilet plumbed to the gray water tank...wouldn't that make that tank black water by default for disposal purposes? For a minute I was like why in god's name would they name the Van Appa that is Japanese themed but using a Korean word which is offensive but then seeing the stupid The Last Airbender toy I just laughed.
The shoji doors are wood backed on the other side so they are fully solid, and blacked on out the other side. Looks like a work truck partition if you look inside when they’re closed. The toilet is plumbed for liquid waste only, using a separator. The solids stay in the composting toilet The client named the van Appa because of the anime Avatar, like you saw! He chose Appa because that’s the animal that carrys the main character, just like the van!
@@benpryce Watching the video again because its gorgeous. I always thought the 120 volt fridges would take too much power. So it's not that bad of a draw?
All I have to say is I hope you guys are still building vans when I'm ready for one because you legit and I've said it on other builds have everything I need and want and have ultimately answered my debate in my head on whether I need a short or shuttle bus or if I can live in a van and with your van builds I could 100% live in a van so please just keep building and allow your vision to keep growing because I will need you in the future. Great job once again!
🙌🙌🙌 appreciate the support and compliments Dawn! It means so much to hear that people appreciate our work! Make sure to check out our website. We just started offering financing, and are building production models to help people get into vanlife more affordably.
This is our favorite build at Vamonos Vans! We love the bamboo and shoji screen doors. What do you think?
Love them. The only thing I’d leave off is the mirror. (I’m not a looker; never was & I’m 66. Last thing I want to see is me)
Gorgeous build!
@@robthetindog8218 😂 thanks!

Thanks so much! Rich Solar makes the solar panels

This is such a beautiful build. What is the name of the tile?
It’s awesome! Slate-lite

Thank you! Yeah the draw isn’t too bad. Mostly because they don’t run constantly. Only pulls power when the compressor is running
