Thanks! Solved my problem with the Idle jet. Many other videos showed the other components to check and clean, but yours was the only one that only one that pointed out to clean that small hole. My generator couldn't even start. If it did it was for 1/2 second. cleaned that little jet and ran perfect. VERY THANKFUL since the generator only had 0.9 hrs on it. Maybe I will remove the fuel from it when I store it again.... for 2 years. :-) I did learn a bit more too with the other parts in a carb too!

Video is excellent. I'd never taken a carburetor apart before but watched these 2 videos, on cleaning and replacement, and it worked great. Before cleaning, pull start was an exercise in frustration and electric start turned the engine over but still the engine died. After cleaning tips from this video, engine started on two pulls and just purred.

Dude, I can't thank you enough! Without going into the gory details as to why (!) my carb was leaking gas like a sieve. Turned out it was the needle valve that wasn't sealing correctly. I know zero about engines (apart from which end the gas goes into), but thanks to this video, I was able to take the carb off my Cub Cadet snowblower and fix the whole thing. No more leaking. Likely saved a lot of money too. Thanks so much. Greetings from Michigan!

You might be able to get friendly with your local dentist and ask for a No 6, 8 or 10 K file for endondontics to clean the main jet. They can't be used too much (work hardening) so as long as they've been sterilised after use should be safe. They're made for cleaning our root canals. Inset, twist and pull to remove debris. Come with a little handle. Handy also for water jet sprayers on your cars windscreen washer system
