It gets a little more complicated as it gets bigger, most of this cardigan would be the same to start just need bigger chest and all that, no decreasing at the neckline when starting the hood and it should work out, does any of this makes sence to you ? 😳

So I've managed to make this for a 5yr old....with the yoke of that size (I watched the video how you explain to do the maths starting with the back neck measurements). So with the bigger size yoke with obviously more stitches i managed to incorporate the cables into the four sides with little adjustments and it worked out fine. Btw I taught myself how to crochet 3yrs ago with UA-cam videos and this is my first children's garment so I'm super proud but wouldn't be able to do it if I didn't have you as my best teacher❤ I will post a pic on your fcb page when it's finished. I'm curious abt this though: does it matter how you make your corners? For instance does crocheting (dc- chain 2 - dc) make a difference if you want to do it different like maybe (3 dc or dc -1 chain - dc)? And to learn even further from you I'd really appreciate if you could make a video of how you work out the different squares of the starting chains to start the garments with. Well wishes from South Africa🤗

Yes!!! I have made one of these with no hood , but I used the same border as on the sleeve ends, it turned out perfect
