Thank you for the video. I did this project last summer. BUT I paid a local body shop to do it. I supplied the new light housings After watching this., my $125 was well spent.
OK... now that you have done this.... you can do mine here in Daytona Beach, PLEASE. I really don't want to do this!! LMK when you can do mine!! P E A C E
Thank you for posting this video! Can you tell me if those support brackets that you put on under the headlamp were always there from the factory? I just got my car back from the collision shop and there is a 1/2 inch gap from the top of the headlamp to the fender. I replaced my headlight assemblies a couple days later and, I noticed that I don't have those brackets.
Thank you so much. Just did mine today. Easy prays once the bumper is off. Damn shame it takes that to just swap a bulb as well. I put in led bulbs as I don't want to take this off again
For an American made car they sure make it difficult to replace a simple headlight. I have a Toyota Tundra it’s take maybe 5-8 minutes to replace both headlights. And anyone that has one would agree. I’m watching this cause my grandma wants me to fix her HL on her chev.
@@davidpfaff3094 Yes with the screw that comes within the assembly itself. I've done this like 10x and have removed and replaced the assembly 2x already gonna do it again today this time make a friggin video!!
No, to replace the bulb, remove a tire then partially remove the front fender liner and come in from the inside, not really practical. This is replacing the Headlight, which is the housing for the light bulb.
@@badmatt4227 I had a car from the 70s you just screw it out and put a new one in like a light bulb. Shouldn't have to take apart a car just to change lightbulb and that's the least of this cars issues

This is the best video on how to change the lights out I've seen. Very descriptive and short. Great music also.
Best one of these videos on this topic!
Thanks for a very thorough video! People should really appreciate this information!
I love the video you have made here, with your help it really doesn't look too hard. I can appreciate the editing you've put into this
Boy, chevy really made this a big hassle
Thank you for explaining
Great video! I'll be doing that in about 2 weeks!
Thanks for the video! Gonna be doing this later today after long work shift lol
Trying to do this while slightly intoxicated at 1:30am is not a good time
Thanks for the video. I'm going to change the Horn and the Bulbs while I have it apart.
Muchas gracias!!!

Just me, but I wouldn't use a power tool for those types of screws.

The headlights came with new ones.
I think I peed a lil from ALL the different clips of songs .... hilarious

What did you change to fix the gap?
Can you reply with the time mark in the video?
I fixed my gap by making sure the tongue goes into the groove behind the upper part of the assembly before putting the two bolts in.

6:14 I should have aligned headlights before installing the bumper.
True
Headlight adjustments are made inside the engine bay both sides just above the quarter panel

One of these tools is called a crows foot
Ummmmm..... I feel so small watching how to replace my broken headlamp.....
Who else put on man eater by hall and Oates while doing this repair? Raise 🤚
It would have been easier for you to buff them out. This is truly a tough repair/replace.
As you can see, one is broken. But I do agree with you.
The driver side was broken from another vehicle that backed into my car.
And the tool sucks, It doesn't have enough of and angle to it. It needs to have been bent more. But I guess I could put something under it.
You cheated us out of the happy ending. I wanted to see the newly installed headlights.
I will remember this for my future videos.
Aftermarket headlights are garbage. Hence the reason for the poor fitment and uneven bumper cover to headlight reveals.
Kill me.
Difícil duro foco malo
Who designed this car? I've never seen a worse designed car. Have to take apart half the front end to change a fucking light bulb

Dumbest car ever
Best mini suv ever! I have 349,120 miles on mine. Only major repair was A/C compressor. Lots of room in back for dogs and cargo. Good gas mileage.
Everything is cool, but the dam music !!!!😡😡😡
True, I have been working on improving my quality. I need to find some background music to use as background filler that is not copy righted.
