I watched this episode, and she was a nightmare of a human. She said several times she didn't like seafood, then wanted seafood. I was so happy when Captain Sandy backed her crew.

I’d be mortified if I had to apologize for my grown mothers behavior. At least her daughter seems like a much more reasonable person and didn’t turn out like her. And the daughter wasn’t even there and apologized! That is absolutely unacceptable. I could never imagine behaving that way.

Customer service is not for the faint hearted. Hand of God a customer asked me to make a hot iced Mocha, with no ice… they legit said “add ice, but don’t put any ice in the hot mocha…” apparently she wanted a cup of ice on the side of the iced mocha…which is doable, but how in the name of heaven was I supposed to gauge that from “a hot iced mocha with no ice” ????
I don’t think she knew that lobster was seafood. Perhaps she didn’t seem like all the cards in her deck were there and the primary called her an intelligent, powerful woman. But the primary I want this immediately Hannah could’ve said well I’ll just pull it out of my ass OK cause I happen to have all those things I have telepathic powers to know exactly what you want and win honest to God talk about trash that’s what these women were trash.

Of course theres no actual way to prove she was working for the mafia & "almost got raped by a mafia boss"... but that story sounds a little over the top, like a lie. That's an interesting point i would have never considered but yea maybe in the past just being difficult made it so others stopped trying to make her happy but on this yaht they have to go above and beyound so it back fired
But I think in that case if I had an eating disorder I would probably just make the excuse that I’m just not hungry, instead of frustrating the chef and the crew.

How hard is it to say “I don’t remember what I wrote on my preference sheet, but that looks really good, do you think I could have some too?” Instead she made a big deal about the alternate seafood meal AFTER she had said earlier she doesn’t like seafood. A simple apology and a thank you to the crew for going above and beyond to accommodate her would’ve been gracious. All of these guests were unbearable.

These women aren’t powerful, they are power hungry. Their incessant complaining and criticism makes them feel powerful; it’s their way of reinforcing to the crew their status, i.e. “You are here to serve me, fulfill my every wish & need before I ask-you are at my mercy”. The epitome of classless.

Thats the vibe I was getting. We cant assume anything but I do think she was getting quite embarassed that she couldnt eat (for whatever reason).

But when the paper was brought out and the staff including the captain was putting her on the spot like you told us that but now saying this. Then was even called out by her friends taking staff side like no u did tell them that making it clear it’s on her that she was like just forget it! I know someone who says they don’t like X but they actually do, just say that so we would get her 1st choice she wanted. But maybe it’s a ED, though I don’t understand how because it brought more attention it her and her meal.

However, it just started to seem off after that comment and when I watched it again I could see that it was possible that was the case. Of course no one knows what someone has and it is most likely her just being picky but I figured it should be brought up considering this was the only comment I saw addressing the comment. An eating disorder doesnt warrent trying to make it seem like people arent doing their job though so either way she was in the wrong imo 😊
I once went on a private boat charter many years ago with family. It was no where near as high tier as Below Decks and the crew were utter gems. They looked after us so well and we had a good laugh with them and treated them with the respect they were due. I used to always be up the earliest and as i was pretty good at making coffee (with the leaf patters etc) i used to make coffee not just for my family but for the crew as well which they loved. Ive seen so many episodes of BD where the guests are nightmares. Its the old saying that money can't buy class.

It is a deeper issue than the crew of this yacht should have to deal with. This woman could not recall what she had told her friends and what she had told the crew, then cried about everything.
She likely has an unhealthy relationship with food. But she filled out the form for dietary requirements and preferences, then walked back on several items.
Frankly, if I was working as the chef on this yacht, this guest would be served the fanciest “Water and Bread” menu I could create for being such a choosing beggar with that much money.
Imagine having her in your life and having to deal with that on a regular basis. Honestly, how does she even dress herself?
They were embarrassing, especially the red headed lady talking about gutting a fish while they were eating their fancy dinner..hilarious. And the blonde lady at the end just had too many of her "happy pills" mixed with alcohol to know what was going on! Great episode though..🤣🤣🤣

Cuase as time rolls on it becomes repetitive and stablelizes. Allowing you to bank and chill in ports of call. which when you look back is the only thing a normal person will remember.

Ok I am an ER nurse and patients come in like this all the time. I have learned to be very direct in telling them to be very direct. "Tell me exactly what you want, I'm not going to read between the lines or guess."
If I was a charter guest I wouldn’t act like those guests. I would request their tried recipes .
When I had to fill one of these out I told them I wanted to try the best local dishes of the region we were cruising. My parents were the primary guests though so they really had the final day even though they bugged me for weeks to fill out the preference sheet online.

I was on a flight once sitting in Economy! Just behind me was a rather posh lady who was ‘huffing and puffing’ and complaining to the stewardesses about every minor detail(of which she had no justification ).This was really bugging the rest of the passengers and myself! Eventually I couldn’t take anymore and stood up and shouted “If you wanted first class service why didn’t you pay the money for a first class ticket and stop annoying the rest of us on this flight” Other passengers began to clap and for the rest of the flight she was as meek as a lamb. When I got off the flight the crew looked and nodded in appreciation! Some people just need to be brought down a peg or two! 😂

Just watched this… Everytime after the Charterer signed the contract.. I always give a long list for the guests.. to Make life for the crew easier.. but unfortunately.. sometimes, when you are at sea.. SOME People have a change of taste buds but My hati OFF to the Captain .. Good Job..
Ridiculous people. I have a side hustle at a winery/steak house. It's unbelievable that people will berate us for not having the beer that they like or several vegetarian options. I just say, well, dear, you did come to a winery/steakhouse. I don't put up with that crap.

Uh that’s not what bipolar disorder is…it’s a mood disorder that causes dramatic shifts between depressive states and full blown mania depending on the type and severity you have. Not being able to make up your mind is a trait anyone can have regardless of mental illness or not…there are multiple other reasons why someone might struggle to make up their minds when put on the spot rather than having bipolar which has everything to do with mood instability and nothing to do with choice at it’s core.

It's a shame Captain Sandy wasn't so quick to defend Hannah when Malia railroaded her. Not watching the new Below Deck Mediterranean because of these 2 snakes. I'll wait for Captain Lee to come back. He's a Captain with class and truly cares about his crew.
how could captain sandy defend hannah? hannah had drugs (valium) that she did not have a prescription for, which is illegal. it is on video. the captain has no choice but to follow the law. what do you suggest the captain could have or should have done? and hannah knew what she did was illegal. hannah's actions could have gotten the boat impounded, sandy's captain's license revoked, cost the crew their jobs, and had all the guest's charters cancelled.
@@fransmith8992 she did have a prescription, and she had mentioned to Malia before. Malia purposely went to Hannah's cabin, played everything out and took a picture, then sent it to Captain Sandy. Why didn't she mention something the first time she saw it? She only did what she did to be vindictive because Hannah wouldn't switch cabins so she could sleep with her boyfriend. Even Captain Lee said it was handled wrong and would not have done what Sandy did, and he's a far better Captain then Sandy will ever be.
