This is a great little boat. Just got one for my son (5) and we love it. May buy another for myself.
Before I bought it I wondered how the motor is cooled. Turns out the motor has a built in fan like the Traxxas Titans. Works great.

Is your boat still good? I just got one and play for ten minutes.the motor is pretty hot and smells not good.same thing happened with my trx4 traxx （Titan）.esc motor break down in a few weeks
Yes the motor still runs well. It does have an odor when hot but performance is still good.
I just got one for my pool and its awesome! I did order some 2S 35C lipos and will be changing the plug to xt30.

I read that someone put some lead weight in the back to keep that back end in contact with the water longer. Mine is doing that "air spin" too. But I have the SprintJet 9 inch with a jet system and it never does that air spin thing.

I haven't broken it yet. Seems very durable. I would recommend boat tape to help keep water out like all boats
I bought a spartan for my first boat lol. It doesn't do well in my pool though lol
Let me ask you a question, would this boat be able to be a recovery boat for a blackJack 42?
That's a pretty big boat but I'm sure with enough effort it could depending on water conditions of course
The boat comes with a piece that you attach to the front to push things around, like balls and what not. Perfect for recovery boat.

I'm sure u can but be sure to rinse well with fresh water when your done.
I did that and it’s fine I ran a recoil in the same water for a year only receiver and servo battery puffed for unknown reason tho
