Hey guys! I'm from Dallas,Texas and I promise you one of the greatest band's I've EVER known and heard that came out of Dallas IS ASKA! I'm proud as hell that they represent my home!! Those guy's have been a force to be reckoned with since the 90's! George Call is not only a dear friend but one of my all time favorite metal vocalist's in the WORLD! All the guys in that band are insanely talented and put their all into their music and it fkng shows!! Danny is killer on drums!😉 They use to play at a club I worked at in Dallas and those were my favorite night's! If you've never heard of this great band before well, shame on you! Just kiddin, but listen NOW and I won't hold it againt you for not knowing one of the greatest metal band's of our lifetime!! Be sure to check out all their previous album's as well! You won't be disappointed! Horn's up!! HAIL TO ASKA!! 🤘🤘
Scott you are the best at reviews - the last 4 Priest albums are enjoyable and easy listens start to finish. Invincible Shield takes it to the next level music and artwork wise.
I appreciate your stellar review on the Aska album Scotty. Comparing the singer to some of the greats that you mentioned convinced me to check out the album. I will certainly do so. Heard nothing but good things about the new Priest too. Appreciated hearing what you thought of the Ace album. Ace Frehley that is. Not the "How Long" Ace. {smile} I really liked the cover art on the new Eric Carr RSD release. Very clever idea with his eyes opening and closing. Excellent R&M part two~ Rob/Boston
I agree the new Priest is excellent! Tunes like The Serpent and the King, the Title track and Crown of Horns are fantastic! Love the whole feel of the album.
Hi Scott!! great new releases update and killer haul too..... I have not heard of Aska before i will adding them to listening list and give it a try. All for the King sounds interesting cool another one to check out. Red Mesa another one new to me. cheers and be well
ASKA is from my home of Dallas,Texas and believe me you're gonna want this badassery in your life!!! They have been around since the 90's! Sorry you're late finding this great band but at least now you know!!🤘🤘
Good timing, the new Ace album has finally arrived here today. I should have time to pick it up tomorrow. You clearly haven't made enough videos so far, you still need to practise your opening line haha! Pasi
Thanks to you I got the new aska ....love it !!🤘🤘i got the autographed lp ...did you review the new savage wisdom ? It sounds Great !thanks to all your videos an reviews..I really expanded my metal collection.! I will check out some of the others for sure!God Bless🤘
All For The King sounds right up my alley, I´ll check them out. Red Mesa´s last album was killer, the new one is on order right now. Thank you for putting my in their direction years ago Scott!
Glad you discovered some new music you enjoy. That’s why I do these videos, to share my music passion. Appreciate the comment. Oddly enough I’m listening to All For The King as I type this. 😊
Great haul, had to put some of these albums on my wishlist. Completely agree on the new Judas Priest, great album, Priest has not really a bad album in their discography in my opinion. Aska sounds great but seems to be only available directly from the band itself, not even on bandcamp, most likely too expansive for me to get from the US but we will see.
wait… what? there is a new randy rose record and it’s doomy again???? that’s the best news i‘ve heard since like forever. i like sacrificium…. i really love healing! it‘s one of the best doomy hard rock records ever… the intense live recordings are killer… then i lost a bit of interest when they changed their style… but i‘ll check the new record right after this video. cheers from switzerland
@@nolifetilmetal1 no worries, great reviews of all these, a few of these bands I haven't heard such as Red Mesa, Randy Rose, will have to check them out now! Spot on with the ASKA review, the new JP is still growing on me!
I will check out that All For The King record. Great video as always. God bless you and keep them coming. EDIT: listening to it on YT and its pretty solid, I think I'll be getting this.
@@nolifetilmetal1 Yeah, it had that late 80's Sabbath thing going pretty good and I like the vocalist. Nice riffing and I like the lyrical content. Awesome recommendation!
Nope. Haven’t even owned his 1st solo. Or even heard it, dohh. I did see a Kiss tribute a few nights ago in Edmonton . Went to Game 3 and going to Game 4 in Edmonton for the Canucks Series
I'm surprised that you le the new Ace album as i didn't think it would have been heavy enough for you. It's just so poppy. I have no issues with Ace's voice at all, it is what it is. Perhaps I'm missing something as I was very disappointed with this new album. I thought Spaceman was far more rocking and an overall more enjoyable experience. My rant is that he teamed up with the guitar player from Trixter. I mean, Trixter!!! Oh give me strength please, lol. I'm of the opinion that Ace is better off on his own. For me that's when he's at his best. I never like it when artists or bands have these outside people to co write songs with them. One last thing, you like Cherry Medicine? That's also surprising to me. It's just so poppy and silly (hate that song so much). I can envision someone like Taylor Swift singing that. I just sounds like fluff to me. Anyway I'll give the album another listen. I know that first song has a riff that's lifted right out of a Soundgarden track.
My taste is pretty diverse. I like some pop rock. I don’t see it as much different than bands like Sweet. Starz and Slade. And least two songs on the album are old Comet songs that were resurrected. Cherry Medicine is just such a hooky song.
@@nolifetilmetal1 Don't get me wrong, I like Angel, Sweet, Slade. I'm not familiar with Starz. Its's been so long since I've listened to frehley's comet. Anyway, I'll give it another listen.

Indeed. I love George’s work in Banshee too.
Saw Judas Priest a few weeks ago, I felt like the Invincible Shield songs were better than some of the older songs in the setlist. Good stuff.

Same here brother. It’s a contender for album of the year IMO.

It’s probably their best album yet IMO. Of course George Call is a world class vocalist.
New Rock Metal Update!!! Lets go!

My least favorite Priest is Turbo. Hard to pick a favorite … so many great albums.
Get the ASKA album...its worth it and then some my friend! 🤘🤘
You’re right Scott!!! The new Ace album is good!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
You and I agree. Ace rules.
Oh YES Scott!!! 🎶🎶🎶

Sacrificium and Healing are still may favorite albums from Randy Rose. The new album is very good but it’s different than those first two.

Actually George Call sung on three Cloven Hoof releases!
You are correct. What did I say? Oh. Had to go back and listen. Haha. I said two but three is correct.

Hey Scott I think my favorites so far this year are new priest Saxon and accept.
I like the new Accept too. It’ll show up in my next update video. The new Saxon kicks ass. I think I showed it in a past video.
🤘😝🤘
Cheers!
I know it’s probably outside your taste but I highly recommend the new blackberry smoke album! Fantastic album!
I’ve heard good things about it. I’ll have to check it out.
Nice to hear you felt Ace's album was a good listen. Quite like the front and back of the blue album cover. Would make a great rawk shirt.
Do you have any Ace solo CDs?
Nope. Haven’t even owned his 1st solo. Or even heard it, dohh. I did see a Kiss tribute a few nights ago in Edmonton . Went to Game 3 and going to Game 4 in Edmonton for the Canucks Series
That new aska kicks butt
Yes it does!
Randy Rose awsome. I didn’t know he was still making music. I really enjoyed that second album since the early 90 s
Yes. I think he has 9-10 albums out now. He first two are coming out in vinyl too.
🤟🏾
Cheers!
