    I love the Q and A videos. I'm still catching up on your channel. I'm going from old to new. It's like streaming a TV show and being able to watch the whole season at once. great stuff. Only a few more years to go.

    I aways enjoy older videos from people I am currently following to see how things have changed. You talked about your $60 reel in this video and I couldn't help but laugh because I have seen you put together a $1000 combo like it was no big deal.

    Great stuff Greg. I feel videos such as this are what separates your channel from the others. I truly appreciate when someone breaks their techniques/equipment down for all to understand what you have been using to be successful. If you ever come back to Texas, would love to meet up and fish Pinkston with you, if you are in that area again.

    Hey Greg, after watching this video, I went back and checked out your earliest videos. That green yak was surprising stable and you look like a baby. With the evolution of your channel and your filming/editing skills, you kind of chronicle the evolution of the yak bass fishing sport as well. I'm sure your story is that of a certain geographic area, but I bet it's similar to other parts of the country. Pretty neat to have it chronicled and be a part of it. Well done and thanks for your time and effort.
    Oh yeah, how many miles on that Dodge now?

    • @GregBlanchardFishing
      @GregBlanchardFishing  6 років тому

      Thanks for the comment, Ben! That Lifetime manta was a perfect starter kayak and really helped shape what I wanted in my next boat. I'm truly glad I had that boat first. The sport is definitely growing and I can't even imagine what will be around 10 years from now but it is a great way to get out on the water and just have fun. I always imagine the dream was a a lake house with a bass boat but that dream has slowly changed over the past few years to a nice garage and a kayak.
      I think I'm at 70K right now!

    Thanks for answering my rudder Q @ 17:05 :)) Live stream on fishing will be nice. Another A/V gear question, why does your video flash dark for a split of a second once a while? Does UA-cam, iMovie, or GoPro do that?

    Zoom fluke is an underrated chatterbait trailer. pulses and thumps good as it goes along. Not the full size super fluke, but not the tiny fluke either.....the one in the middle between those 2 sizes is the one im specifically talking about

    I'm looking at the Titian or a 12LT. I would use mostly around lake mead and the river. I would use it for multi day camping trips. I'm leaning towards the Titian. Can I get your feedback? Thx for your videos, I'm learning allot from your videos. Oh I should say 275lbs and 6'2''

    RM709 @ 24:15 (if you see this) check out both the RIPTide A13 Warthog & the VIBE SEA Ghost 130 both just under $1k, I also have had lower back surgery and a $1k cut off and after a lot of research have narrowed it to these.

    By the way, good to hear the Z-Man Custom Chatterbaits have a bait keeper. I love the vibration of originals, even more than my current go-to chatterbaits by Picasso, but I hated that they didn't have a bait keeper.

      bait keeper is clutch! Especially with the swim senkos I use which are super soft

    Hey Greg I fish the delta a lot and found that I have much better luck on outgoing tides. Have you found similar results? Also, when it is an outgoing tide I usually fish the outsides of weed lines a little deeper (8-12ft) with cranks. Conversely, I'll fish the insides of weed lines on in coming tides. Hope that helps a little.

    • @GregBlanchardFishing
      @GregBlanchardFishing  7 років тому

      Absolutely. Outgoing seems to be best for me as well. Interesting. The other day I almost had the exact opposite happen. I was fishing inside the weed lines with an outgoing and what I think made the difference was the bank was rock so it was sucking out all those crawfish and the bass were just waiting. I will definitely give those methods a shot though for different scenarios. Thanks!

    Hi Greg it is Matt I am starting to get into 🎣. Can you give me some advice on lakes around me / types of bait to use besides worm and a spinner?

    • @GregBlanchardFishing
      @GregBlanchardFishing  7 років тому

      Hey Matt. Really depends on where you are in the country and what type of lake with what type of structure and cover you are fishing. I'd say in general add these baits to your arsenal: Booyah Pad Crasher, Z man Chatterbait with a Gary Yamamoto swim senko trailer, and a KVD 1.5 squarebill! Good luck!
