My dad passed away a little over a year ago and I have my mom down for a two week visit.. just to give her some laughs.. started watching your video.. mom put her book down and watched, smiled and said “your dad would’ve loved watching this guy.” Greg.. thanks for sharing and also thanks for helping to bring a smile and good memory for my mom.. Looked like a good day out on the Delta I’m currently away from home for a few weeks working up in the Bakersfield area checked Google earth before but there not a lot of areas but the Kern river is around the area I was thinking about bringing a pole but work is my priority so I didn’t bring any fishing gear so thanks for taking me along. I really need to start throwing the swim jig again myself! I used to catch tons of fish on it, but stopped using it as much over the last few years...I also stopped rigging my senkos "wacky" style and just started texas rigging them...I have lost alot less fish that way...Great video, and i'm excited to see what's next!

Just giving you a hard time. I like your videos, you need to come this way some time. Shasta, Oroville, or some where up NORTH! LOL
Hey Greg. How long do you actually run a bait before you decide it's been enough, and you should switch? Sometimes, I lock baits in all day and don't catch hardly anything
I just went fishing at the delta today and ended up catching a three pounder, two 2.5 pounders, two 2 pounders, and a 1.5 (all bass) i think the delta is getting better from the past 10 times i’ve gone but i caught a 4.3 a couple weeks ago aswell.
Hey Greg , I noticed you had yellow line on your wacky rigged worm spinning rod set up ? I have been avoiding braid cause I'm unsure if the fish can see it in the water . Was wondering if this is something you think it should be stressing about ?
Greg do you like that new scent you're using?? I'm still with the fish sticks and (bait fuel😅 the Bait Fuel hasn't caught me one fish and the sticks did every time practically on the same day
So far its been good! I don't think its any better or worse than fishsticks but as long as I'm scenting that frog I do think it helps even its just a little bit

Ok so here is the thing why are u never looking for deep water road beds anything to get off bank it's 100 degrees think would u wanna lay in 5 inches of water water is mor stable in 8 to 15 foot then u throw all small fish baits pick up a dt10 or something lol

you should try the finesse Jacob wheeler buzz bait. you can throw it all day. it's been slamming out in the delta.

Try a swim jig with a Keitech swing impact or a Zman Diesel Minnow on the back with a straight retrieve.

I use all types of line but line quality matters especially with braid so it doesn't dig into the spool. The P-line braid has been good to me
