I had a bit of a breakdown once in the Mojave desert when I was living out of my van
I never felt so alone in my life.
I cried on a rock.
I could hardly breath - like a panic attack.
I hadn't cried like that since I was a child
and then an owl swooped down and perched next to me on the same rock, no more than 6 feet away
his neck turned 90 degrees towards me
and as if the owl said everything I needed to hear, it just stared at me and didn't make a noise.
My tears dried
After about a minute it flew away, I suspect to go get some food
I felt blessed that the owl would ever consider consoling me
and ill never forget that moment.
The total providence of nothing.
Let me share this because John will not clearly present this.
Are you 100% sure that if you died today you would go to heaven?
Do you know Jesus Christ?
I am convinced that most people who call themselves "Christian" know religion instead of Jesus Christ. Or they have created their own God in their head. That is why we must make sure that we know the God of the bible and know that we are truly saved.
Lay religion, Christian culture, and even politics aside. Someone who truly loves you is reaching out to you not willing that you should perish (2 Peter3), but that you be saved from the price of your sins.
With that said, how do you deal with your sin? Yes you. How many times have you lied, lusted, or stolen? I'm guilty, what about you? I hope you feel convicted.
But if you're going to reject the free gift of salvation, you ought to think about where you are going after death.
Is this your mindset?
Luke 12:19
“And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.”
Please please do not be this person that Jesus described here. I don't care how if you are in a ministry or even behind a pulpit. And their is no shame in getting saved.
Matthew 7
21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
You see there will be professing Christians that were not actually saved.
I want to help you.
Matthew 18:3
"And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven."
Because of God's holiness we cannot be in his presence as we are in our sin. No matter how righteous one may appear everyone has sinned and one sin can lead to hell, but there is a way out. We don't deserve it but God made a way that we may become the righteousness of God (Romans 5). I want you to have 100% assurance of salvation.
Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
Romans 6
23For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1. Truly acknowledge that you have sinned against a perfect God and you are worthy of hell that can only be saved by the blood of Jesus Christ
2. Believe that Jesus died for and covered all of your sins and rose again.
3. Say to God that Jesus Christ he is your saviour.
Please let me know. I am praying for you, today is the day of salvation.

Absolutely! John Butler's laugh is one of the most genuine things I have ever heard and felt through the screen.
His stories sometimes seem to come as a surprise even to himself, as he tells them. Maybe this is because he recalls, and re-lives them in his mind, as he shares them with us, the audience.
I could not value a person, that I have never even met, any higher than John Butler.

Yesterday I found a small patch of wildflowers growing. I noticed how the variations of pinks and reds together, the heights and sizes, the way they moved gently in the wind and realized no human could ever ever create something so amazing. Its so superior to any art work man could make

This man is not born again, it's all mysticism with just a little bible mixed in.
He is my kin. I feel exactly as he. I am happiest alone with God, nature, and our sweet communion. My gift and talent force my use of technology, but even then I am alone as I use it. God Bless you, Brother John.

Mr Butler you make the most trivial statements feel special. One example you described you almost never bought food you had this black pot and cooked beans for days it got thicker. I get the sense John and I have a lot in common. I find great happiness and "wealth" in connecting with people and for being in nature. I feel free when the landscape is quiet and still and expansive and rejuvenated when I can make connections with others and give and receive human kindness.

I'm a city boy who had a grandpa who owned a farm in the middle of nowhere in Mexico. I lost him at a young age. Now as an older man, I wish he was still around. I would have loved to talk about his life and wisdom in his farm underneath the stars.
I got fed up with human contact and wanted to be under the stars again. 🤩

John, how do I learn how to meditate? What am I supposed to be thinking about while I sit in silence? I’m a combat war veteran and I’m just trying find peace with in me after see such horrible things in Iraq. Thank you and god bless you John.
The way it talks about in the Bible to meditate is to quietly read scripture to yourself and I would recommend something like the book of psalms or proverbs and some of the saying of Jesus Christ. God bless.

I admire John but I think his philosophy has certain limitations. Sitting in a chair feeling the oneness of things does not, for me, blot out the reality of human suffering: war, hunger, the killing of a child, the rape victim, those struggling with pain and disease, those who haven't the money for bills, those burdened with mental illness, those displaced by climate change and so on. These things are real. To ignore them is to deny the reality of other people.
To whoever reads this: You are one with the abundant flow of the universe and will easily manifest your dreams☀️
