Acom 1000 finally repaired for Ron VK3AHR

Its always your mates who give you the painful repairs, and I'm retired so we never charge anyone these days but I thought this one would be an easy one. In tjis case, not so, but good to have the old girl up and running again, she's a beauty. Two independent faults had us bamboozled for a while, but patience and a few hours got us there eventually..I will get this delivered back to Ron asap so you guys can hear him A bit better on the net on 7.097mhz at 10am everyday. Ron, VK3AHR does a great job of running this get together of radio hams 365 days a year, pretty amazing effort for sure. Acom makes a great amp. But they are so expensive I can't even afford the Box they come in. lol 73s Joe

can get pricey, especially the 2000 for sure...In Australia, the Euro to Aud is the biggest issue.

I have a Acom 1010.
Is 600 watt pep output safe for it on SSB?
Drive level around 40 eatt pep.
No cats on top of mine.

Hello. I have an Acom 2100 that is eating my lunch. Ihave been a tech for 40 years and have never worked on an amp that the schematics are this bad. Do they keep the good schematics to them selves? I just gave Val an ass chewing about thier poor product support. Can you help in any way with this repair? the amp belongs to me and Im thinking about selling it for parts. Hi Hi
