      Some are ruled by their feelings. The left drowns them in propaganda til they’re so emotionally invested they refuse to listen to logic…they’re taught selective listening, hear blah blah blah til they hear something they can attack or that facts are a personal attack to be countered with insults.

      Actually, I don't think they teach anything at all.

    • @tahliasgoddaddy
      @tahliasgoddaddy 7 місяців тому +8

      Oh, but they do. They teach them how great socialism would be, ignoring the actual history of socialism's consistent failures. They teach them conservatism bad, progressive good. Teachers are allowed to teach their own liberal ideology as fact. Also, when I was in school evolution was taught as theory. While it is still to this day unproven theory, even less likely that it was thought to be 50 years ago, it's no longer taught as theory. It is taught as scientific fact.
      As I said, they no longer teach how to think. They teach what to think. It's a travesty and it's out fault. We let it happen. The dumbing down of the system in the late sixties and seventies helped foster the take over by liberal organization like the NEA and teachers Unions. Today we see the culmination of a plan that began even before the sixties. We should have noticed when the communist party seemingly disappeared that what actually happened was they just began identifying as progressive instead of communist and infiltrated the already flawed Democrat party.
      It's our fault.

      Not just what to think...but what to say, what to do, who to vote for, who you can talk too,
      Yet America is still walking pretty much unchallenged down this narrative path. It took Germany less than 20 years to go from a civilized society (yes seems strange to say that after the first world war) to rise of the Third Reich. That started very much how this is going, point the finger at a group and say they are to blame. That is what is happening to white people now.

    3 rules of thumb for whether or not you're in a cult:
    1. Are you shamed or punished for associating with people not part of the "group"?
    2. Are you shamed or punished for asking questions about the "group", its stances, or its teachings?
    3. Does the group consider people outside of the "group" to be evil? example: if you're not a democrat, you're a maga racist

      Advice on how to deal with them: Show them no quarter, no understanding, no tolerance whatsoever. The only way to get them out is to (de)program them the same way the colleges did and that requires you turning your back on them and letting them know why. They have to understand that YOU paid for the college, YOU told them it was a good idea to go, and YOU were tricked just like them, and most importantly, you will not tolerate their stupidity or their racism or their preaching or any other BS they confuse as knowledge. Understand that your kids are lost forever unless you turn your back on them until they repent. Remind them that unlike their lying professors and school and social media followers, you will take them back when they break from the lunacy. If that's not enough, you were never going to get them back anyway. Good luck.

    Falsely attributed to Winston Churchill, this quote rings true: "If You Are Not a Liberal When You Are Young, You Have No Heart, and If You Are Not a Conservative When Old, You Have No Brain." I was quite progressive in college, but as I lived life, started a business, started paying taxes, it became obvious which party I identify most with. And it wasn't the most progressive.

    • @ErazerPT
      @ErazerPT 7 місяців тому +4

      In a talk a philosopher said "It's good for young people to be moderately anarchist so that in their mature days they can be moderately conservative." That's the simple substitution of "I'll do my own thing to serve my own needs" to "I'll (try to) do what's best for as many people as possible (as long as it's not terribly bad for me).". But the driving force for that change in mindset is taking on accountability for yourself and responsibility for others. If you aren't exposed to that, you go into "Peter Pan mode". Guess you can see where it's breaking down now. When grown adults behave like children throwing temper tantrums, it's dead easy to point where it went wrong. If you give it enough time/space, it becomes "children leading children" and we all know how well "Lord of the flies" goes...

    I’m really enjoying your videos. Thank you being open minded. There was a viral video going around 2 years ago of a racial attack at Arizona State University. My son was a student there at the time. In the video, 2 “girls of color” film themselves going on a racist rant towards 2 “white”young men who were quietly studying in the ASU “multi-cultural” center. The 2 girls walked up to them and started accusing them of being racist, white supremacists , etc…They were also told to leave because they were “White” and they weren’t welcomed there. A bunch of other extremely racist and ignorant things were said towards them. As I said, my son was a student there at the time. He’s also white and an extremely kind, responsible, and loving person who’s had friends and family members of all races in his life since he was born. Native American adopted sister. Mexican adopted sister. Black cousins. Guatemalan sister-in-law and nieces. Etc. We’re a very blended family. Yet no one would know that. They’d just see his white skin and assume he’s racist. He was forced to finish his last 2 years of his bachelors degree at ASU with people like these “girls” walking around creating hostile environments and hating him for the color of his skin which NO ONE has control over. It was the most shocking video of racism I’d seen in awhile. But, of course, it got only a sprinkle of local news coverage. Had it been switched around where 2 white girls walked up to 2 black boys and said the things that these girls said, it would’ve been plastered on every media site available. The video’s been taken down but here’s a link to a channel that reacted to it and still has the video up. I would love it if you watched it, on your channel or on your own, to see what’s really going on in some (or all) Universities around our country. ua-cam.com/video/E0QE8Qwe1AY/v-deo.htmlsi=Jb1GkIk9f04UftO9

That a non-binary, queer, low income black woman is inherently more oppressed and must have more things done to make the world better for her based solely on those factors. The question of how everything gets ranked is a hard one, because it changes all the time.
    See, when things look bad for one group in particular, that group gets more "credit" with people for a while, so they get pushed to the top of the list.

If they are blindly following those plans they are just lazy and don't care about educating, but are just regurgitating whatever they where fed and if that is the case they deserve to be blamed as much as the institute they are working for which is spoonfeeding them these "lesson plans" (in this case indoctrination schemes would be more fitting tbh because lesson implies learning and learning implies free will and creative thought. Jordan Peterson spoke about learning to think, which is what college is suppose to teach through essays. And people start learning to think by talking through issues with others. One of the most powerful ways is to argue the otherside. But you can't do that on most school campuses today.

    We all have different stories, and for those of us who grew up pre-woke, we lived and loved and laughed and cried and everything in between with politics rarely being part of it. It's crazy for me to think that anyone should judge another based on their skin color. That seems so racist, or at least that's what I grew up believing. I've lived a great life full of highs and lows, and hopefully you do the same but with more highs and fewer lows.

    They have been doing this since I was a kid in the 80s. It was WAY more subtle then, so much so, many of us in our later years are only just now seeing it, thankfully due to the fact they've gotten so obvious and blatant about their agenda. I was raised to not trust and simply hate Republicans or anyone conservative. I'm not going to bore you with my story but I can tell you, I wish we had noticed this when we were younger, maybe this could have been avoided or something. Sadly, they were sneaky and clever back then, so we never knew what was going on until much later. Congratulations on waking up sooner, truly happy for you. ❤️

    Here you missed the point. She stated the liberal college didn't hold traditional values.
    Reality is the left has abandoned the middle where "liberals" traditional value were.
    I always identified as a left leaning independent, basically a liberal. In the last 15-20 years the left slowly crept away from me. I was pro weed, pro choice, pro equality of opportunity, pro free speech, pro capitalism, still am. But now I am a registered Republican. And the Republicans are okay with discussing things that they may have opposing opinions on, where as the "tolerant" Democrats will openly attack and cancel anyone and everyone that does not agree and stay in lock step with them.

      Heck, the shift is particularly noteworthy if you look back on the punk movement in the 70s and the 80s. You literally had liberal democrat AND conservative republican punks who all hung out together because the punk ideals outweighed those core values.
      The diversity of thought that the punk movement embodied can best be summed up as: "Yeah, we disagree on these things, but we can both agree that we don't trust anybody that's in charge right now, regardless of the party they represent, and we can talk it out between us to find common ground."
      Contrast that to what has happened since then, where there's a 'faux rebel' aspect to the far left. They want to protest, even though they aren't oppressed and they have never suffered. They want to claim victimhood so much that they have to invent grievance causes and 'microaggressions' to justify that claim. Hell, it's even baked into the cultural zeitgeist with things like Star Wars where the Democrats literally turned it into a mouth piece for their anti-Trump #Resist movement by calling the "good guys" the Resistance -- notice, not Rebels. Because there's nothing to rebel against.
      In other words: They aren't punks. They're posers. And they drag everything down with them in their desperate need to maintain their image of wearing labels, mental conditions, sexual identities and more like fashion accessories.

    This explains a lot... I was having a discussion with my daughter and son-in-law today - I tried to google some facts to debate them with, and even though I knew what they were saying wasn't true, I couldn't find the proof I needed. Once we left, it took me a few hours, but I found what I was looking for. There should be a resource for anyone who is on the right to access FACTS that support our side of issues. It could also be a good resource for anyone seeking the truth who has been brainwashed blue. I'm not talking fabricated or slanted facts either - only the truth.. Good video... keep them coming.

    I just attained a degree a few years ago. We had a lot of co-requisite modules. There were only two lectures where politics were mentioned and one of those was politics from about 2000 years ago. There was only one that mentioned politics in the 20'th century and we did not go past 1997 as the lecturer stated there were no books with sufficient academic standing to use them even at undergraduate level.

    Also, I think more than ever, with the decline of education in the USA especially, but also Canada, it's harder to have productive debates with people you encounter day-to-day in life "on the other side of the isle" because they don't argue with facts and logic, they argue with feelings. At that point, it's not a debate any longer - it's just an irrational argument not worth engaging in. Debating only works if the people involved share an objective reality.

Tell them you overheard another student use a racial slur (not directed at you) but it has been bothering you all day and woudl it be ok to take the test the following day. I am guessing it has a great chance to succeed.

    I came across Misha's shorts a few times and immediately liked her for the way she adresses things, a very intelligent, well-spoken young woman. I can't even imagine what it must be like to be in school and college these days, I was sort of an outcast 30 yrs ago for not fitting the norm, I'd be cancelled and or expelled on the first day of college today 😂.
    I wrote something in response to the 'index of forbidden words by Stanford I titled 'Welcome To Kindergarten' last December while trying to get published for other work. Not a smart move these days but I refuse to conform to the extremely woke literature standards of our time, that should actually be about ópening people's minds, not closing them...
    I agree on the overlap, one of my quotes is 'Let's take down the fence, because there are no real sides; we only think and believe there are' (and we can live with disagreements if we live and let live, like Misha said). All the best 🙏
