I wish I could a get a translation of what they are saying in the song. I know it has to do with a traditional marriage but what are the princes saying? I am from Cameroon, and I am able to pick up a few of the pidgin English sentences but the tribal language ones I am lost! Class Act though!

"Ogechi Ka Mma": *God's time is best.*
The chorus says it's best to wait for the fullness of time.
Then, the song asks the young lady, whose name is *Ifeoma:*
"Ima ni imaka?": *Do you know you are exceedingly, stunningly beautiful?*
    Then, it says:
"My darling, I am genuinely in love with you. They say I am a player, but that's idle gossip. I choose you over all. My heartthrob, tell me your heart desires. Your loveliness outshines. I will make you exotic, native snacks and salads."
"Ife Nkilim": *my most pleasing sight!* *The one I tirelessly appreciate!*
"Turn around (dance), so I can rain a confetti of dollars on you! I want you as my wife and the mother of my children."
(The song is so much more mature than the youths who sang it. The rhythm is Okanga-Ogene Delta-Igbo and Eastern Nigeria. There are 4 languages in the song: English. Pidgin. Yoruba. Igbo. But mostly, Pidgin and Igbo.)
*It is cultural to throw money at people when they dance or perform.*

Nigerian Government is the obstacle holding back Nigeria. The only successful sectors in Nigeria are the areas where the Government has absolutely no involvement, such as music and movie industries.
Government has normalized the looting of the Treasury and embezzlement of billions of dollars from oil revenue.
Nigeria has limitless natural resources. But the government simply abandoned every other resources, and focused only on oil. The petroleum ministry has become a criminal organization. The president made himself minister of petroleum, so he can control the corruption. And they are using the police and army to harass anyone who speaks out. So, Nigerians are running away from the country.

Foreigner leadership is not what we need right now we are more than capable to fix our country because Nigerians are the brightest and greatest people you could ever meet.If only the government could be held accountable for their evil deeds. But very soon their cup would be filled and the youths will rise up to fight for their country not even fearing death, because of the too much suffering has gotten to their necks! Foreign intervention could come when we prove we don't know what we're doing

      Whaa gwaan, proud African?
It's nice to see Jamaicans embrace their roots.
When I lived in Jamaica, it was a slur to be called 'African.'
At that time, Western Media and Jamaican TV showed only ugly images of Africa. But Rastas steadfastly refused to turn their back on Africa. They remained fiercely proud of their African heritage. Africa was their highest joy, and the promised land. You couldn't convince them otherwise!
At that time, only 'brown skin ladies' worked in banks in New Kingston.
I taught at Mona Campus. I published extensively in the Gleaner. And I was a regular guest at Irie FM.
My former students now occupy prominent positions in Jamaica.
Which Jamaican radio station play Afrobeat?
