Shining a Spotlight on Staff - I Am Cal OES Video Series - Liana Toledo

Cal OES welcomes you to learn more about Liana Toledo, Regional Emergency Communications Coordinator with Tactical Communications at Cal OES. The work she does ensures Cal OES is able to provide secure and reliable radio and telephone communications to first responders and the public, anywhere in the state.
“One of the most rewarding parts of my job is I know it directly supports the citizens of California. As somebody who has family in the state, I know that I have confidence the work we’re doing will make sure that our first responders and the citizens of individual cities have what they need to communicate to be able to call 9-1-1 reliably to get the help they need, when they need it.” Liana said.
Liana has been with Cal OES for three years. Prior to working in Tactical Communications, she worked as a Television Specialist in the Cal OES Office of Crisis Communication and Public Affairs, supporting the agency with live streaming and audio-visual support at press conferences.
