There’s not too much of these places in central Florida that I gave by covered so it’s nice to stumble in this spot . I need to hit the road soon but for now I’ll try to find more of these hidden gems. Honestly feel trapped when it comes to small town stuff in Florida, it’s buried down away from the rest of the country and over run with developments
Ya Florida seems the hip go to state to be …….Arizona Rim county I’ll take any day tho. Better be”holstered” up btw
I'm so glad you had gone back to the road. It's your niech....❤❤❤❤
It was really cool, thanks. But not a fan of sudden abrupt ending of videos
Adam this little area that's part of Davenport is getting all revitalized. Not really abandoned.
These aren’t my kind of videos but glad you are mixing it up some!
Cool, this is like old school Adam the Woo. As a native Floridian myself, I love seeing old Florida stuff off the beaten path.
….and That’s why we are Here bro…..
I'm a historian who is based in Central Florida. I have a lot of locations and history in Florida for you if you are interested.
There are hidden battlefields and homesteads and forts all around.
i'd be interested in info for my surrounding areas of Gainesville, and Bronson Florida, being so close to Civil war history is my jam!
Subbed! xo
@naybur74 Maybe I will get back to making videos from my channel and go up there. If there are a lot of similar war battles and a few Civil War skirmishes.
I took a few years off to write a history book which I am trying to get published now. So this will be a good opportunity for me to make new videos.
I think Adam would benefit from the maps I made and information I have because there's a lot of little interesting places around.
Looking quite dapper the last couple days! Very nice look on you.
Adam just wanted to say thank you for your videos. We as a family look forward to them everyday. God bless and safe travels my friend.
This is one of the best ATW videos I have seen in a long time. Will probably watch it at bed time as well to lull me to sleep.
😴 🥱 😪
Classic Adam the Woo that I've missed. It's amazing how you can find "nothing special" like this little tour, and yet everything you show us suddenly becomes something very special. I look forward to more diversions like this in the future. They remind me of the channel I discovered in 2014 or so...
I am SO glad that you didn't go to Epcot! This style of vloging is what I miss most on your channel. You do this so well!
Love all your videos but these are my favorite. Exploring the backroads with the abandoned buildings full of history. Thank you for sharing👍
Hey WOO: happy you are seeing real rural Florida. Lots of farm and ranch throughout central area.
Just started watching and I'm already very excited that you're going to a small town in Florida. These are my favorite vlogs! You do such a good job searching them out. I'm excited to watch this one from the description!
Loving the collared shirts Adam Looking slick walking through Celebration and totally ready for these type of vlogs! Im really excited!
Now this is the kind of video I really like, organic, quiet, invoking memories from days gone past.
Adam, really enjoyed your awesome backroads of Florida video! Seems like it was quiet and peaceful there. Thank you for taking me along with you on your awesome backroads adventures! Looking forward to your next vlog.
Nice little preview of what's coming in the Wooture!
Yes lots of road trips sooner than later
Classic Adam the Woo, talking to the cows, oh yeah.. missed the back roads stuff. Great video!
Man… when you see Adam do this kind of video.. he reminds you real quick why he is the G.O.A.T. heck yeah Adam! This is amazing !!!!! Can’t wait to see what else is in store! Thanks for everything woo!
"The lonesome sound of a train goin' by...makes me hang my head and cry." Don't know. That song lyric popped into my head when the train went by. Fun video today.
Melancholy isn’t it?
These are the things I like to see Adam, I laughed out loud when you said hello to the cows! I have missed that as well
Yes, the collared Woo is back to the back roads!
"collared Woo"
Sounds like some sort of vegetable my mother would make me finish before I could leave the table
@@StinkyGringo lol
@@StinkyGringo” collard greens” anyone?
These are some of the best videos history and hidden gems
What’s so great about this is it fully utilizes Adams amazing instincts and incredible eye. Rather than a busy location or crowded event, vlogs like this are all Adam which is why many of us became fans in the first place.
Thank you . More to come, I need to hit the road
@@TheDailyWooeverything you do is very entertaining but on the road you are king.
@@LSGT5I think we done with Anaheim……lived there in 70s
Exactly ! Adam is in his element ! I throughly enjoy watching the back road vlogs ❤
So true, so true.
I love these types of subjects. Abandoned or mostly abandoned towns. Love learning the history. Thank you for bringing us this
Really awesome find there, Adam. Thanx for sharing. For me, the travel vids are the best! You somehow manage to find the most interesting and bizarre places out there....maybe because you go where most others don't care to go...but this was just fabulous! Thanx a lot. Look forward to what you got coming next. Until then - take care, my friend......And always remember: "They were cones!"
Love it! These small towns all have a story. You do a great job of capturing a small part of each one
So interesting. The one with the Baptist Church with the nearby motel-like structure may have also had a pool given the odd oval with a patch of grass and a slide that looks like an old pool slide. So many spooky properties that make you wish they could talk. Wondering how long you are going to be able to resist your wanderlust.
LOFF-MAN Buddy. Familiar with that area but you always find the stuff that no one sees :) The whiter (sugar sand) you see on some beaches and random places in central florida has a higher level of natural quartz in it that washed down into the gulf of Mexico from the Appalachian area and got deposited and over millions of years became grains of sand. Pretty cool if you think about it. Your basically walking on ground up bits of million year old rock from the mountains around Gatlinburg, TN right here in Florida.
I love when you acknowledge the local animals , be they a pack of dogs or herd of cows. ❤
Thanks buddy for the Orlando off the beaten path adventure it was quite interesting and I loved the fact that I was able to see things I haven’t seen before thanks again, now with that peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Adam and I’ll see you on the next awesome vlog adventure peace ☮️ out ✌️
Love the collared shirts buddy. Looking sharp.
I forgot how much I enjoy your exploratory videos. Look forward to seeing more of them.
Love the collared shirts! 😂
Thanks u Adam for doing your videos and sharing the wonderful places u go tooo😊❤ always love watching from Valerie in Brisbane Australia 🇦🇺 😀
Excellent video, Adam, it allows you to take your time and relax, rejuvenate and get away from the madness of huge, loud crowds. Just what the Dr. ordered.
Dig the vibe of this video and the new track you've chosen for the journey ahead. May the travels be random and the discoveries serendipitous and enlightening.
Tip: For hot weather, I recommend golf polos from Reebok or Nike. They'll make you look older, but they wick away the sweat and keep you cool under the beating sun.
I explored the area your in 1990 and also 1995 when visiting Disney World for 4 weeks (off property motel). I found the Citrus totem and was suprise to see it in an isolated area. Glad your exploring areas like this again. The area with the looks like fake grass is probably an above ground septic tank as a lot of the grave sites were more above ground.
Already loving the exploration of these locations. Always enjoyed these more than any other videos. So pleased that these are the focus again 👍
Yes classic Adam car drive Especially talking to the cows on the side of the road Love it Can’t wait for the road trip
Great video Adam, I love the small towns and discovering little bits of history/nostalgia as you. And I'm also the same, I've never felt alone while being alone, but have in groups.
I love the old Tampa highway. Those old unused roads are always fascinating to me, although there's often not much to see. But I love imagining people driving on them long ago.
I've always been fascinated by abandoned buildings, something about it when there is no people and nature takes over and merges with them. Some of my favorite photos and footage ever taken were in such places. In a way this reminds me of some of the footage of the Detroit area (which has a bunch of abandoned buildings for obvious reasons), even though Florida and Michigan can be quite different even in terms of architecture. Love this.
In a nutshell….agree
These are my favorite types of videos that you do, Adam. Great stuff! That being said, wherever you go, we'll happily follow. You do you, man, and thanks for taking us along.
I love to see these old places! Love the way Adam explains things and looks inside so we can see
Today’s video was absolutely perfect. I love all of your work, Adam, but it was really nice to see some of the out-of-the-way back roads Adam, talking to cows Videos once again, always keep keep up the good work. Thank you so much for everything you do you have no idea how much your videos help me out.
Really enjoy these backroads discovery vids. Maybe if you make your way to Wisconsin, you could meet up with Sight Seeing Sally and Marty to do some exploring. Safe travels and good health!
better hurry up if your heading to wisconsin....about to get cold and crappy here
That is the type of videos you do best.
Love this kinda video the remoteness and tranquil peace is beautiful. Ty Adam❤
I love these videos and the conversation with the cow!
Love your roadside misc videos 📹 🏆
Its definitely great to see you doing a bit of content you originated with. Early years will always resonate with me the most. Back when you were adventuring out alone and with Ginger. Been with you since your personal FB friends days. Keep up the great work Adam!
Adam: "How ya doin', cows?"
Cow: "Wooo..."
This is your greatness..Mr woo...enough with that Halloween boo....😊
Nice adventure. Once you go to Hawaii its all shirts with collars :)
Enjoyed this very much, Adam!
I have really found myself getting upset when I see all the windows busted out in these buildings (in most of your other videos also). Today, "Looks like "DUNG" thrown on the door over there", people are finding more ways to be more DISGUSTING!!!
Just ranting, ranting over!
Great job, Adal, I mean Adam! 😉
👍👍
Labor Camp Road - was that possibly designating the site of one of the German Prisoner of War prisons/camps that were in Florida during WWII? Or, is Labor Camp Road designating the former site of migrant workers who labored in Florida. Would be interesting to find out more of its history.
I would t be surprised if labor camp road orginally housed Florida inmates to do manual labor out there....
Another day, another collared shirt! Looking good my friend! Enjoy your day!
That place is so remote that you can almost use it to make a scary movie
Those stairs leading to a wall...Maybe you need to draw a door and knock three times.
Polk county, that's where Al Bundy scored 4 touchdowns in one game for Polk High to win the championship!
Al Bundy a athlete no way!……he would be selling cars, not shoes
Love to look at names and dater on old cementrys . we have quite a for in montana. Thank you Adam ,, FRANK FROM MONTANA.....
Adam you have a special way of of describing these forgotten places you venture to , it’s a gift to us viewers, Thank you
It's always fun to see your videos like this. After your talk, I think we all see your uneasiness with your growing fame - but that comes with your success. I'm happy I got to meet you once. You are a hero of sorts to people (like me) because you have the time to go on all these adventures all across the country. There are plenty of topics and things yet to explore other than the crowded theme parks and conventions and I hope you might visiting some of these sometime: A Civil War re-enactment. A role-playing game location (stores that have weekly gatherings to learn and play games like D&D and such). Since you're in Florida...Gasparilla (try the Yacht Starship for that and avoid the insane crowds and parking issues). A visit to the first Hooters (in Clearwater!). When you go to St. Louis to catch the Rays play the Cards...gotta hit Imo's Pizza (St. Louis' own unique style of pizza). Just some ideas for ya.
I love the backroads and the moo moo's resting under the trees.
This is where Adam shines ✨️ doing these kinda of videos just like the old days
Thank You Adam for the wonderful video. I feel like you are back to your roots again.
Very dapper in your vintage roller skate shirt! It's my dream to one day live in Celebration. It is a very beautiful area. My wife and I also love to hit old Florida when we can. We have a condo in Ormond Beach but do not use it nearly enough. One day I hope to live there.
Yessir. Back to the good stuff.
This is the perfect vlog! Excellent 🎉❤
Again, it took me back to my growing up years in CF back in the day! Miss those times.❤ Great job, Adam. These videos are my fave.
I love it when Adam talks to the animals!
These are my favorite kinds of vlogs that you do! Thanks!!
This is my favorite sort of blog.
As a kid, my parents and I would visit my aunt in Avon Park. I would spend every spring break at their house. She lived on East Lake Bonnett Road. She passed away in 1995. It's been over 25 years since I've been in that area. Looking at her address online images, her place really looks run down.
I enjoyed watching this video you uploaded. I hope you keep going on these explorations and discovering not so popular places & then bring us along and let us join you. 👍🏼
Need more of this type content thanks🤠
Very cool little town you ran into. I love this video. Thank you for sharing.
I loved this so much!! Thank you, Adam
Fantastic old school video! Thanks Adam! Should check out all the orange fields near Okeechobee sometime. Its a nice drive.
Come to Ocala, we have the Jeeper Creeper road and also check out the world equestrian center, the hotel for horses!!!!
That would be Awesome!
Love these vlogs very much, keep it going, Adam.
enjoyed that vid adam...great to see you back in the saddle again......cheers!
Absolutely loved this vid. The new shirt, just strolling around.
This feels like a pure AdamtheWoo vid.
I'm loving the new/old/now Adam.
During our year living in Homosassa, FL we found many of these forgotten roads. Thanks for the memories.
Really enjoy your abandoned places videos! Keep up the great work!👍
Epic as always. Always love when u do urbex
Yes! I love when Adam does these types of videos.
I always love it when you get off the beaten path. Thanks.
Likin this style of videos! Thanks.
I miss these old places, ty for taking us for a ride out of town...
Greetings
Enjoyed your one tank trip of discovery‼️👏
Steps to nowhere, ladder to nothing and lives nearly forgotten until today😎
Well done Adam
I think you are on your way🚙
Westlake watching
I love the hidden gems videos. You’re so wonderful
I am really enjoying your video! Keep it up😀
dang, nice work Adam!!!
Love this type of content. A+
Wonderful video! I really enjoy things like this.
Be careful. Some of these abandoned areas aren’t so abandoned. Let’s just say the show Breaking Bad ain’t got nothing on these areas.
We love what you're doing like in this episode keep up the good work which you do work a lot😊
Love love love it ❤❤❤❤ isn't it amazing to step away from the chaos for a bit and just take in nature by yourself!
Nice day and thanks for the great time..stay safe and be careful. Have a great day. God bless
Hey Adam great video driving within FL expoloring other towns and sites...Enjoy on.
Thanx for sharing! The monument at one time had a bronze placard... Not so long ago the road around it was cobblestone, and pretty rough...
Oh no kidding . Would have been neat to see the cobblestone
I betcha they had the bronze placard over the misspelled word! 😂
