The spring is indeed where the fps comes from. The reason for extra fps when using 11.1volt batteries is because the piston is travelling backwards faster. The extra momentum means it travels backwards a little further as well. I expect the weak standard spring is more likely to break eventually due to this constant over compression. It is unlikely that you would see this extra fps with a heavier spring installed. Indeed, in my experience upgrading gen 8 gearboxes a 1.3mm spring may very well need a bigger battery, standard batteries are often unable to cycle the heavy spring.
just thought i'd let you know, if the magazine is behind the trigger its a bullpup rifle, it allows for a shorter barrel, it lets you keep velocity and accuracy of a longer barrel and increases maneuverability, although i'm not sure if you knew this or not

Change the dinamo, and battery, well you have airsoft, but be aware, cuz the gearbox will broke cuz the design are not more than 200 fps
