B12 is not found "naturally" in animal products. Animals do not produce B12, it's source is from bacteria that's in soil or spring water. So if you eat unwashed root vegetables and the such, one could get b12 that way, but we don't do that. Cows naturally get their b12 from the soil too, but the feed they consume at the feed lots is fortified with b12 and therefore present in their muscle tissue, and that's why they are a source of b12. Still even animal eaters should take a supplement because they can tend to be deficient, not just vegans...
There is plenty of b12 in beef liver us animal eater get dense nutrition & in a much bio available form than any plant, plant nutrients are blocked by many of the defence chemicals and toxins in plants do you homework ✌️
Thanks man! I've been wondering the history of it and I really appreciate your humor and candor throughout the video! Best wishes ❤️
Great video thanks. Cholesterol by the way is made by your body and dietary cholesterol has no bearing on heart disease. It’s not even debatable anymore so I hope you’re getting enough cholesterol.
Awesome video. Thanks for the information. Appreciate it.
Love it. So good. Been for your veins.
Awesome Video Mate. Thank you
awesome informational video!
Thanks 👍. Love the info!
Amazing video!!! Thank you so much 🎉
Thank you for that excellent information. Did you say some brands add SYNTHETIC additives? What would they be and why? I wish to avoid these!
Thanks for this exceptional information source on nutritional yeast! I personally like to put it on my locally sourced and humanely harvested grass fed/finished ground beef/organ blend. 😏
Thank you teacher
Excellent video, got to the point. What is it.
Great video!
Thank you
Thanks❤️
Stay warm Mary. Our pipes also froze in NC. Be safe.
Thanks for the informations ! Where can I learn how to make it ? Do I need any machines for that ?
I wonder how they get the yeast to consume the sugar or molasses without converting to alcohol.
I mix a heaping tablespoon in tomato 🧃 juice! Thank you for the great presentation on nutritional yeast! I have a bachelors in Food Science from Cal Poly, SLO from 1995😻

Hello. I'm trying to corroborate the following about homemade nutritional yeast (known in the vegan world as "nooch"):
Peter Reinhart writes in his "Whole Grain Breads: New Techniques, Extraordinary Flavor" (on page 294):
"Or toast ¼ cup instant yeast in a dry skillet until it turns a medium shade of brown.
"(Toasting yeast turns it into nutritional yeast as it kills the living cells and leaves behind the nutrient base.)"
Can anyone corroborate this? If not, can anyone recommend a source (that does not market nutritional yeast itself) that can? Thanks.
Its pretty good on avocados
Ok I like this guy lmao
Why did you say not to have 15g worth? I have like 20g at a time. Am I missing something?
protecting there animal consumptions maybe ? ;-)
B12 is found to some extent in soil and plants. These observations have led some vegans to suggest that B12 was an issue requiring no special attention, or even an elaborate hoax. Others have proposed specific foods, including spirulina, nori, tempeh, and barley grass, as suitable non-animal sources of B12. double sides still on this one LOL
Water lentils were recently found to contain that special form of b12 found in dirt.
No animal can synthesize b12 they need to get it through yeast directly or the biproduct elsewhere
TIP - run your mic signal through a compressor.
This video from 4 years ago is the last one on your channel. What happened mate? You okay?
I peel fungus from toes & cook them.
Cholesterol can be healthy.
Ok. This is why I’m not full on vegetarian. I eat 4 eggs a day. I get my daily fix.
I watched the whole 7 minutes and I have an attention span the length of a wrestling match of a midget against the Big Show👍
Stay away from the one day with added vitamins. Gonna do more harm that good. Get your vitamins from food or organic supplement.
You speak very very fast.
So you didn't say where yeast comes from.. what on earth is bakers yeast made from???? 🤕
Its present everywhere. Thats how it got discovered by accident.
What. Why would i want to lower my cholesterol? It’s what so many different hormones are made out of in our bodies
You make your own cholesterol naturally. Extra cholesterol from food increases risk of heart disease.
@@tigermouth11 yeah, says all the gay studies
@@Juhadiable 😂😂😂
@@tigermouth11 it's true. People need meat, especially from cows.
I didn’t know hormones were made out of cholesterol
