I love that they were able to adapt the old art style into Blackfrost. The art in the first game was fine, but the stylized fires and effects shown in the trailer and screenshots are a great improvement from the first game. I can't wait to see some gameplay footage.
Yeah keeping the core aesthetic from the first game is a good shout. Polishing it a little bit is probably the best they could for this game. Raph confirmed that the screenshots are in game screenshots as well, so it's looking promising
The permalife will most likely be something like this: get attacked by a pack of wolves and "die" rescued by npc and now your character has a fear of wolves and will tremble and freak out whenever you hear a howl or glimpse a wolf until you face your fears and come out the otherside. But thats just my interpretation of the permalife system, we'll see if that actually happens
Wow that actually would make a lot of sense. If that is how it works then that sounds really interesting. If it is not, maybe Hinterland should hire you...
my sound is at 100%, youtube at max, headphones at max, and you are super low, like if you are talking across the room and the mic is on the other end.
@@LEMUR_JJ The sound for me was fine, sure you are on the quieter side but I think that is more your voice and how you speak rather then a sound issue. Your voice is great btw
I`m thinking the nuclear power plant might be a major objective of the game where you start the power for a mini city, something like in Fallout 3 with the waters of life.

@@LEMUR_JJ Haha! I appreciate that but I know nothing of coding so I'd be a generally useless idea man hahaha
@@Sammylitch Plenty of games companies seem to employ them anyway :p
@@LEMUR_JJ Haha! so true, I like to earn my money unlike those people though ;)
It looks like snow Rust. Which I am 100% down for.
Didn't they still not finish the episodic campaign of the first one?
Yh we are still waiting for episode 5 to come out for Wintermute, probably be coming around March time if I had to guess.

Thanks for the feedback, new mic so still adjusting sound levels. Will boost volume next video.
Brother I think this is a you issue, he is plenty loud enough on my end, maybe even a little too loud

@@Archmagos_Faber Ah thank you for saying, and yeah I generally am a bit more soft spoken. Need to get my commentator voice going!

I don't think that is too crazy of an idea. It seems likely it will play a major part in your playthroughs from what we've seen.
