There is no such thing of ahead of time ; what he is trying to explain is the rule of balance this is a daoist concept ; he is using the yin and yang principle ; he firmly believes in his own ability to create his own path and all knowledge he adquires is understood ; converted and transformed into wisdom ; then he uses his intuition ( natural body functionality) for his own fighting techquine not following any outside rule but his own body as whole ( mind ; emotions ; natural movement ; qi energy) and combining that with control he means the self discipline of making all of the things mentioned in the paragraph to flow in harmony with each other in all level physical ; energetical qi ; soul center ; spiritual body ; astral body etc . In every posture of his interview , he is showing the legendary pose . every word and voice coming out of his mouth is far superior than normal human beings .

Found this video after hearing about Tarantino defending his portrayal of Bruce Lee as arrogant in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, despite Lee's family being upset about it. After seeing this video, I would agree with Lee's family. I don't see arrogance at all. In fact Tarantino, if anything, is the arrogant one. What's also crazy (and some people have already commented on it) is how these two really do seem like they're from different eras. The interviewer's presentation and style is rigid and contrived, which was typical of many shows/talk shows of that era, and Bruce Lee speaks as if he's talking to someone today. Bruce Lee is very articulate, thoughtful, and smart. Very much ahead of his time, and died much too young.

Two years later after this interview Bruce Lee died. A legend that will always be remembered even a hundred years pass on. It's unfortunate Bruce Lee died at a young age (32 years old) but all his accomplishments are truly legendary.

It is usually someone who is being over dramatic in real life but it could and also does apply cinematically. There is no such thing of ahead of time ; what he is trying to explain is the rule of balance this is a daoist concept ; he is using the yin and yang principle ; he firmly believes in his own ability to create his own path and all knowledge he adquires is understood ; converted and transformed into wisdom ; then he uses his intuition ( natural body functionality) for his own fighting techquine not following any outside rule but his own body as whole ( mind ; emotions ; natural movement ; qi energy) and combining that with control he means the self discipline of making all of the things mentioned in the paragraph to flow in harmony with each other in all level physical ; energetical qi ; soul center ; spiritual body ; astral body etc . There you have the natural and the unnatural . Hope it helps

The thought that i'm watching this interview and getting knowledge from our legend Bruce Lee and hearing how articulate he is. I feel blessed and I'm aspired to follow the learnings he had brought in this world.
I never get tired of listening to him.
The interviewer felt very uncomfortable when Bruce got at the truth of the human race, I think he popped the bubble he was living in.

Found this video after hearing about Tarantino defending his portrayal of Bruce Lee as arrogant in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, despite Lee's family being upset about it. After seeing this video, I would agree with Lee's family. I don't see arrogance at all. In fact Tarantino, if anything, is the arrogant one.
What's also crazy (and some people have already commented on it) is how these two really do seem like they're from different eras. The interviewer's presentation and style is rigid and contrived, which was typical of many shows/talk shows of that era, and Bruce Lee speaks as if he's talking to someone today.
Bruce Lee is very articulate, thoughtful, and smart. Very much ahead of his time, and died much too young.
That's what we call a head of your time we get it because it's so many years past but if your not Brice Lee then your mind can comprehend the level of smartness
His early death really saddens me, imagine what world would be if he was alive today, he would appear in more interviews and speak wisdom.

It's funny when keyboard warriors say that bruce was just an actor and not a fighter.
His philosophy and understanding clearly show that he was an artist who had reached the highest level of his art form .
Be water , dont think, feel ...., emptiness , there is no opponent, emotional content, unnatural naturalness....these are the true essence of martial arts.
He understood the naunaces of fighting, and he understood how the mind and body works ....he would clearly have been world champion if he fought in MMA today!!undoubtedly!

Two years later after this interview Bruce Lee died. A legend that will always be remembered even a hundred years pass on. It's unfortunate Bruce Lee died at a young age (32 years old) but all his accomplishments are truly legendary.
Less than two years later he died in July 1973 the interview shot on December 1971.
He's so powerful inside and outside even until now. It's unbelievable he's no longer exists since 46 years ago. But he's incredibly spiritually physically powerfully inspiring until now and I think hundred years later...wow Master Bruce Lee you're a living soul and spirit 🙏🙏🙏🙏

What a terrible interviewer. That ending was far too dismissive and abrupt, especially considering the beautiful message Bruce Lee had just conveyed.
Minoras Moon Because TV shows have time limits down to the second so someone was waving to him to end it. No choice. Bruce knew that and understood TV and film and that's how shows work. And Pierre Berton did a fantastic job in this whole interview and prepared for it thoroughly.
Kevin Meyers lol after he conveyed a very beautiful message Pierre way of ending was very sarcastic and a little rude, “okay! We gotta go!...” jealous Baffoon. Only a white guy like you mR. meyers would try to ignore or oversee that. Venom Hype Bullshit. He had only 22 minutes to interview Lee and did a lot of homework/research on Lee beforehand. He did a great job and was respectful to Lee. He just had to hurry with such a short time to do and finish the interview.
Bruce Lee was on a whole another level of intellect. This guy could not keep up with his thinking. Imagined Bruce being interviewed by Joe Rogan, that would be amazing.

Everyone is so focused on the interviewer or his behavior they miss the subtle greatness of Bruce Lee. There should be an entire thread discussing things like the way he communicates with his eyes and movement of his hands, it's quite fascinating. You guys are what Bruce would call "Moon Pointers." Point to the moon and you will miss all the glory.
I agree, and I understand the reference you are making, but you are a little off. See, Bruce says in Enter the Dragon (I am paraphrasing here): say you're pointing at the moon. If you focus on your finger, you will miss all of the glory, like you pointed out. However, if you focus on the moon (your tasks/others) instead of your finger (yourself), you will notice all of the glorious things life has to offer. That last line summed it for me . As everyone say wish he was alive today . These are types of inspirational human beings we miss in today’s world . The man interviewing had no clue as to what a legend this man . I wish a man like Larry King interviewed him .

Imagine an actor acting like they're acting a character. It doesn't feel natural or real at all.
Or imagine an actor unactingly unacting. That is being, naturally natural. Like if they're in a crying scene, crying way too dirty making way too loud a noise, overall spoiling the cinematography in a way. It is natural that that's the way people would behave. It's just so extremely natural that it seems too raw.
@@anvayaiyer5614 I was making a joke but there is a thing in Filipino culture called overacting. We calling being “O-A” (overacting). It is usually someone who is being over dramatic in real life but it could and also does apply cinematically. There is a certain amount of overacting that exists in Filipino cinema and it can either be over drama or over crying or even being overly humorous. But culturally the audience is aware of it and so it’s accepted and sometimes even expected. This would be the Unacting Unacting one lol
