Man, this was one of the most well-made maps we've seen in quite a while! I really, *really* love the idea of having the enemy base being a self-sufficient fortress of shields! It really makes it feel like "Okay now we're truly assaulting their main base." And it also makes you kinda think like "What would be the best way to assault this?"
Right? So many maps are good at the start and then you can basically just walk away and let it do its thing, but this AI actually fought back and the base seemed to actually take some effort to get into even with the rest of the map under control.
Gotta love a map that makes you think, especially the rare play as creep ones. I hope we see more of the aggressive AI, makes winning as creep a lot more satisfying.
Loved playing this map yesterday! Had a harder tim cracking the final base for whatever reason, I enjoyed that it wasn't just another huge box of AC that you just have to wait 10 years to whittle down but a tough nut you have to figure out how to crack instead. Very nice map!
Heh. I was JUST playing that map yesterday. I gotta say it was SO satisfying to finally get that base in the end, but it took SO MANY spore and blob upgrades before I finally hit the tipping point and overwhelmed the base. The AI was annoying, but the "you can lose" was only a technicality. Realistically impossible to actually lose that map.
Something I recently learned about LPAC, you can click the eggs after they've spawned in to manually pop them, rather than waiting for the enemy to shoot them
Daily reminder that Tom is an amazing person and to thank him for all he has done/will do - Day 995 OOO what a cool map, I have always enjoyed the melting and freezing of a map, so having a whole Map melt away was super fun Oh wow, new building AND moving structures, this really is an advance in the computer enemy, how exciting indeed :D
Found that map a few days ago, I pretty much ignored the spore launchers and boosted up the blob nest when I saw the base was going to be one of those "throw bodies until something gives" types.
I just played this map, and while I wasn't terribly impressed by it the map itself wasn't that bad so it was good :) I was going much further ahead than you just freeing the emitters along the way and ignoring the back lines, and I probably got through a good 2/3s of it before I realize it the ground was melting (the only reading I did was seeing the acronym LPAC) .
The relationship between various CW4 enemies and shields: *Creeper* : Is Repelled *Spores* : Kamikaze Bombs It, But Only Stuns It Unless Friends Are Present *Blobs & Mesh Growth* : Ignores Completely *Globs And Eggs* : Bounces Off Completely *Air Sacs* : Ignores when they do cross paths. *Everything Else* : I Can't Remember.
1:37 am i an idiot - *Jesse YES* 4:10 howd i never see that - being bad at games 7:12 take out from within 8:55 M Rift and a shield... just so you dont have it 16:26 line of edgecreep 16:58 blobs finish the day - well kinda
I just found out on this map some towers can be selected meaning they can be moved and destroyed by you even though you are playing as creep. Most importantly sprayers and snipers Edit: since you can select sprayers you can actually set what they do so.....
I don't understand the premise of the game I see videos And my impression is...soo tech is fighting water Can someone suggest like... storyline videos or something... Cozz i do like rts games but this one confuses me a bit
Anyone know the map name. I'd like if he added it to the description or something. I like to play the maps after watching the video. ************edit********** Map name. Potent Creep

Just FYI, Putting down eggs infront of blob launchers makes the blobs pick up the eggs, even in LPAC mode
I always wondered how the blobs got their little pom-poms
Man, it's surprising just how different the terrain dissolving makes playing as the Creeper feel, because you're never gaining the high ground at all.

"We might upset those guys with some little behind eggs." Oh, did Tom finally buy a Splorch?
I hate that I get this joke.
I really like theose creeper world 4 vids keep it up
The creep being able to eat the entire map is really cool and makes the creep feel a lot more malevolent
really interesting map. super interesting ai, really puts the game back into playing as creep
It's just autpbuild combined with autopilot I think. But yeah that's an really interesting combination.
It finally happened, I just tried to click the RIFT JUMP button in the video after he was done
lolz
Dang when the main base was destroyed halfway, it make a giant heart shape from the shields
Heh. I was JUST playing that map yesterday.

What is the name of the map?
@@TheOddball29 this, i need it myself
This x2!
@@TheOddball29 Potent Creep
@@NovaEmberlyn Potent Creep
This is the AI you need for the First-Person vs Creeper games
That was a cool map!
Nice to see targeted spores.
Now waiting for a map without snipers but with air sacs... :)
Got to say I'm a big fan of the terrain destruction in this map. Makes those eggs pop!

Hi :) What are you gonna do when you hit day 1000?
Celebrate :D
Josh getting the edit for the don't answer that was perfect

What was the map called? :(

Love the fun videos, thank you for your work Tom and Josh.

Really cool map! Would love to see others like it
This map, but ONLY Boost the Spore Launchers :D
Still confused on how creeper world works but still fun to watch
what wouldve been funny is if it said "Hi tom" on the ground once he melted the whole map
Hope more maps are made with the adaptive AI
1:20 There is an M-Rift inches in front of you. LOL
that is a fun map. went and played it myself
Blobs are the best option here.

a
you could have placed a egg on the emitter to melt the land under it you know granted it would only work on a few but still
Blobs coming in real clutch this video.

This game needs creep vs builder multiplayer. And optimization and a wider camera FoV.
Boom! love me some Creeping Tom.... Sorry I will show my self out.
Very interesting map
Things you only hear on this channel: "eggassult"
Seem like a fun map, what is its name? i find nothing when looking for "melt" or "meling"
they have sniper you could just put the egg in the shield do a little damage
I don't understand the premise of the game
I see videos
And my impression is...soo tech is fighting water
Can someone suggest like... storyline videos or something... Cozz i do like rts games but this one confuses me a bit
Tactical!
OMFG!! What is the map called????
Anyone know the map name. I'd like if he added it to the description or something. I like to play the maps after watching the video.

Map name. Potent Creep
So heroes don't wear capes
Why does that look like a country 17:13
I won this through pure blob spam
