When I say you'll suffer with her when you read this, I mean *you will suffer.* One can't just read this without experiencing an emotional wreck (unless you have no empathy). I went in expecting nothing just to drop it after a few chapters; I ended up pulling an all-nighter, my face a mess from all the tears shed and with a huge headache.
I don't know what it is about this manhua that has pulled me in but this one is honestly my favorite villainess story. I have been reading countless other villainess stories just to suppliment my wait for this one.
I know right the last chapter of the novel was beautiful it made me cry and smile at the same time. Penelope's fast family deserve what she did but i fill sad about them. Cant wait till the manhwa catch up to novel
For me out of all manhwa with this kind of cliche(got reincarnated to a novel and became villainess and should avoid death flag) this is the best👍🏻because the way the ML is changing for the FL does not feel rushed unlike other ML where they just suddenly fell inlove or act kinder to the FL because of one act of kindness🤣 and I LOVE THE FL SHE STRONG AF!!! They have a similar trope but My Life as a Villainess was a lighthearted comedy whereas this one is definitely more dramatic and complex. Hoping the same for Roxana, Your Throne and other villainess manhwas with strong FLs!

I rarely read novels (the original source) but this MANHWA is just *TOO AMAZING* that I couldn't resist. The plot, the progression, the relationships b/w characters and the character developments... everything is just wonderful. I couldn't wait for the manhwa chapters to come out, so I progessed into reading the novel. And heck. This story is by far one of my top favourites of all time. Not doubt. You *will not regret* reading this. Trust me.
In tge current flow of the story, I see a lot of people criticizing Penelope and calling her selfish for using the male leads especially eckles, but if you think about it, wouldn't you do the same thing if you were suddenly and unwillingly trapped in a world where anything you do determines your life or death. To me at least Penelope is the victim in here past life and in the game.
ahhh i hope this can one day have its on animation. but more importantly i hope we can support by having a physical release of the webtoon too not just online on tapas!! it's such beautiful art!!
