Romanians are the best people in the world and they have the best BBQ in the world! I am saying this as a Serbian who is proud of our domestic cuisine, but objectively speaking, Romanian delicacies are heaven on earth! La mulții anii!
You wouldn't believe it, but lots of Romanians are hard working people. I spent a good deal of my childhood in rural Romania and my grandma would grow pigs, chickens, vegetables all by herself. Our Christmas table was very delicious, with lots of cooked food. She was not rich by Western standards, as she worked hard during communism in agriculture. Nevertheless, she made the most of what she received back after communism collapsed. I remember she having cows and producing all by herself all kind of deliciohs milk products all year round (butter, yoghurt, sour cream). At Christmas time she would sacrifice the pig (Romanian tradition to eat pork products for winter holidays) and preserve delicious home made pork all year round. Even if my parents offered her to financially help, she continued working hard in her garden and household until a veru old age. She lived long, died of old age, rather than illness and had a sharp mind until the end. When you are hard-working and skilled, you can make the most of the little that you have.
I am so happy that the Romanian people are doing well since that monstrosity of Nicolae Ceaușescu. I was in Romania in 1986 and you could see that it was ruled by a disturbed dictator. You did exactly the right thing with this miserable dictator! It's just nice to see that the people are doing well.🤗🤗
