Nice video. I had no idea you could get them with cut bait. The colored braid is a great idea. Who makes it, and what test do you prefer for your mainline? I have been using 1-1/2 oz egg sinkers. How will I know if I need to go heavier? Thanks!
I use Reaction Tackle Indicator Braid. I use 65lb mostly because I also use that for tuna fishing, you could probably go lighter. Josh from Southern Wind Guide Service turned me on to the 2 oz weights, sometimes you have to drift for striper and the 2 oz keeps you in the strike zone when you spotlock or drift without having to change weights. Great question, keep them coming!
@@ThumpemupFishingchannel I appreciate the help! That braid is surprisingly well priced. I’m always telling my dad and his buddies 25 ft, 35, 22ft, etc and we just count down 1 ft pulls at a time. It would be nice to tell them to watch the color of the line instead.
Nice fishing video! Subbed!
Thank you so much! I have tried to build this channel to help people catch more striper and tuna! Let me know if there is any content you want to see…
@@ThumpemupFishingchannel yessir!
Going to take my Tumper out for the first time this weekend at Lake Whitney. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks again Eric.
Thanks Mike! Call me if any questions!
