This row was the one I was most worried about. So many things could have went wrong! Either one of the door tracks could have been misaligned and the door would not have opened. It then would have been very messy repositioning it! Same thing with the conduit - if the hole was not drilled in the exact correct place, the electrical line would not be able to be installed! In the end, everything came out perfect! I still haven't hooked-up the conduit, but I believe that is perfect as well - at any rate, the garage door works, and I am on to the next row! Great job Mojo! I can't wait to see the furnace install. You did a lot of meticulous positioning previously, and it will be nice seeing it all come to fruition!
Thanks Dick, I can't wait to get to the furnace! In a week, the nighttime temps drop to the low single digits, so that is the temperature it will stay in there most of the day 🥶 I really hope the furnace install goes without a hitch!
Hi Mojo, that was a great video, and the more panels go up the better it looks, great job, we have snow sleet and rain here at the moment, but the good thing is it's notched the temps up a couple degree so no bad thing. Still no sign of patty? that's a shame.
Thanks Larry! I agree, it will look fantastic once the entire ceiling is in place! Glad to hear it is warming-up there! It's going to get real cold here in about a week so hopefully I can move right along with this ceiling by then! Working in very cold weather can be very difficult! We just had a 7" snowfall here, and had had freezing fog for a couple of days afterwards. Not a real big deal, just dreary... 😑
Thanks Dave! Shut out by the weather at the moment. Very cold out there! 🥶 Thanks for sending the magnets! Can you tell me exactly what they are used for in the mine?
Hi Kyler, it's been quite some time! I plan on updating as soon as I can get this shop insulated, and good day presents itself. Right now I'm spending every "nice" day putting ceiling in. The newest trees have had an almost freakish growth spurt. Some shot up to maybe 9' tall or-so. I'm guessing I'll be able to get to it on a windless sunny day in January. I need to prune as well, so it should be done soon!
After watching the past vids on your ceiling instal, I'm hoping mine isn't nearly as involved as yours. I have to work around garage door mounts, but thats about it (I hope)
I agree. The garage door is a high rise, otherwise there wouldn't be the box-out, and the furnace and cross-over electric wires add complexity as well. I think most garages would simply have the brackets to deal with 😑 The furnace will be the most difficult, and that is coming-up this week. Wish me luck 🤞
Tricky because it is a steel ceiling in a very dry condition (woodshop). I don't believe it needs one at all, but I used Kraft paper insulation on top of the tin. I will blow-in insulation on top of that.

Thanks Fred! The trickiest part is ahead - the furnace install. Wish me luck! If that goes smoothly I'll have heat! 🔥🔥😊
I was worried about that door hardware! Congratulations on getting past that without a hitch!
Thanks Robert! I was real worried about this row as well, but it went perfectly 😊
Good job Mojo! I hope you don't get frozen out before you get that ceiling done!
I have a very busy schedule this week and the temperatures drop a great deal after that, so no such luck. I'll be working in the low teens next week 🥶

Wow what a pain all that had to have been. You got a lot of patience!
Great job today my friend. Your package has been mailed this afternoon.

@@PlanetMojo they hang lights with them on the longwall
How are your oak trees getting along? It’s about time for an update! 😁

Always go in reverse first when cutting metal with a hole saw until you get it started then tap the trigger don't hold it.
Thanks for the tip Here for the videos! 😊

How about vapor barrier on ceiling what are your suggestions?
