This is the video I needed! Didn't fully get the earlier 'croquis lv1' videos thanks to their shoddy translations, but with this everything clicked into place.

good stuff. next time i get the drawing bug i'll follow these guidelines. I'm not an artist but i like to draw from time to time and honestly i've never quite grasped dynamic poses or drawings without reference.
